Judy Greer and Brooke Burns in Miss Guided Promos
Wow, someone finally figured out that Judy Greer is a major talent, and besides making her play the best friend of every romantic comedy lead since the dawn of time, they’ve finally given her her own TV show. Unfortunately, word is that Miss Guided, Greer’s show, isn’t going to last for very long, which probably means it’s back to the sassy best friend role for Greer. Lame. In the meantime, we can at least turn our Tivos to record every episode, because when was the last time we saw Brooke Burns on a TV show showing off those unfathomably long legs and near-perfect face? Judy Greer has the pretty thing down, but damn, Brooke Burns has the “Good God that is one gorgeous girl” thing down since Baywatch. Promos from the show for the two babes.
The Always Intriguing Judy Greer
I have to say, I love Judy Greer. I love her in almost everything she does, and I’ve seen most of it. I don’t know what it is about the woman, but I simply find her unendingly intriguing. Besides guest spots on CBS’ inexplicable hit show “Two and a Half Men”, Judy Greer has three films coming out in 2007, including “Visioneers”, “The Key Man”, and the TV movie “Miss/Guided”. Yeah, I know, most of these movies sound like they’re going to reek, but with Judy Greer in it, I’m sure they’ll end up bearable. And hey, even if they’re not, there’s always Judy Greer to focus on.
Who is Judy Greer?
I bet you have no idea who Judy Greer is. And why should you? She’s famous, but not that famous. She’s been in a ton of movies, but I bet you didn’t even know her name, or remember her from all the other movies she was in where she played the best friend or the loyal older sister. Alas, that’s the life of a Judy Greer — pretty and talented, and sexy as hell when they allow her to be, but destined to be forever labeled a “character actor” and never a “star”.
