Re-Introducing Julia Ormond
I’ve always been, and will always be, a fan of actress Julia Ormond. Heck, I’m such a fan I even hunted down a little-known movie she recently did called “Resistance”, a World War II drama that she co-starred in with Bill Paxton, aka the Guy from “Aliens”. Julia has reemerged from exile determined to restart her career, and up first is the Lindsay Lohan thriller “I Know Who Killed Me”. The film will probably tank thanks to Lohan’s insane behavior in the real world, but hopefully that will be just a bump on Julia’s road back from oblivion. Welcome back, Julia! We miss you, babe.
More Proof Julia Ormond is Still Alive
Some of you didn’t believe me when I posted a while ago that Julia Ormond was still alive and kicking and starring in movies again after what seemed like a century or two hiatus. That’s what it felt like when a woman with Hollywood at her beck and call just ups and heads Across the Pond to Merry ol England and stays for, oh, a decade or two. Well, Julia is back in the States, and seems determined to recapture her former ’90s glory. Here she is at some Oscar shindig somewhere held on Sunday post or pre or during the Oscars telecast. By the way, who isn’t psyche that “The Departed” won? I know I am. Mind you, not that I win anything, but hey, it’s just nice to be nominated. Say what? Exactly.
Julia Ormond is Lindsay Lohan’s Mom
Wow, I didn’t even know Julia Ormond was still alive. Remember the days when she was the “it” girl in Hollywood? You know, the ’90s? “Sabrina”, “First Knight”, “Legends of the Fall”… Now she’s resurfaced in 2006 to play Lindsay Lohan’s mom according to these guys. Julia Ormond as a mom? Of a grown woman? Man, time sure flies, doesn’t it? The movie in question is a serial killer thriller called “I Know Who Killed Me”. It’s got a pretty convoluted (but kinda cool) premise: “A young woman appears to suffer from dual personalities after surviving a brutal kidnapping.” It’s actually cooler than it sounds.
