If you don’t already know who Julie Benz is, she’s one of the stars of that crazy serial killer TV show Dexter. You know, the one where the serial killer is actually the leading man? I guess you could even call him the hero. Julie Benz plays his girlfriend. Really, that’s the whole premise of the show. I kid you not. Rambo is Back. You Ready, Bitches?

You hear that? That’s the sound of some scummy soldier intent on raping the poor, lovely flower that is Julie Benz screaming in pain as Rambo guts him from ear to ear. Yep, there is buckets and buckets of blood in the latest Rambo sequel, to just be called “Rambo”, which I guess is kinda cool. It’s like “Rocky”, except, um, “Rambo”. Hmm, what’s the deal with Sylvester Stallone in movies that starts with “R” and has 5 letter words? And check it out, both titles are the names of his characters. Coincidence? I think not! Anyhoo. “Rambo” opens January 25th, 2008, and here are some stills from it. How badass does this thing look? As badass as Rambo trying to stab you with a snake. I mean, come on, that’s hardcore! If you haven’t been watching Showtime Channel’s original series Dexter, then you are missing out. It’s a killer show (literally) and it has a killer premise. Basically, it’s about a police crime scenes forensics guy who moonlights as a serial killer. But get this: he knows he’s a killer, but he ONLY KILLS BAD GUYS. Basically, he finds the evidence, finds out who did the killing, and then he kills the culprit. A serial killer of serial killers! And oh yeah, the girls on the show are hot. Julie Benz in Loaded Magazine

Former “Angel” star Julie Benz is about to blow up — by starring as a missionary who gets captured and nearly raped in the latest Rambo movie, “John Rambo”. I personally like the movie’s original title, which was something involving Serpents, Orients, and Rambo killing people. A lot of people. Now if a role in the latest Rambo movie doesn’t help you get known around the world, I don’t know what will. Well, she can always do an “Angel” movie, I suppose, although changes of that happening aren’t very good. By the way, here’s Julie Benz in Loaded Magazine. Julie Benz is Rambo’s Love Interest in JOHN RAMBO aka RAMBO 4

Variety reports that Julie Benz, formerly of “Angel” (she played the hot but deadly vampire Darla), has landed the female lead (aka the love interest) in the latest Rambo movie, to be called, simply, “John Rambo”. I don’t know if that’s the official name, and if they’ve officially dumped the original “Rambo IV: Pearl of the Cobra” title. I actually would prefer the “Pearl of the Cobra” title, as it sounds better than, you know, “John Rambo”, which is kinda really. But I digress. The fourth Rambo movie has Sylvester Stallone coming out of retirement (again) to battle Burmese pirates that have kidnapped Christian missionaries. Stupid missionaries.
