Earlier this week Liv Tyler and Kate Bosworth met up in the West Village for some coffee at a quaint little restaurant and the two actresses exchanged a friendly smooch. Or at least, Liv Tyler went in for a smooch, and Kate Bosworth looked kinda surprised by the incoming lips. (Liv Tyler has giant lips, I’m told.) But hey, who’s complaining? Well, okay, no one is complaining, but a whole lot of people’s eyebrows perked up at the sight of Liv Tyler planting a major wet one on Kate Bosworth’s lips. Gentlemen — start your fantasies!

Anyone who is “in” to celebrity news already knows about Kate Bosworth’s well-documented battle with anorexia, or whatever she’s using as an excuse for becoming dangerously skinny. For a while there, the poor girl could fit through a closed door, she was so thin. Kate seems to have started on the road to recovery, if these beach bikini pictures from Hawaii can be believed. She still doesn’t have an ass to speak off (is that a butt or a flat iron board?), but she doesn’t look nearly as frighteningly skinny as she used to. The flast chest, I’m assuming, was always there…

Remember when Kate Bosworth was a hardbodied hottie ala “Blue Crush”, and then all of a sudden she became a bag-and-bones girl ala “Superman Returns”? Well it appears as if Kate has come out of that no-eating slump of hers, because she doesn’t look entirely bad here in a green bikini frolicking about on a beach somewhere with some guy whose identity I don’t know and don’t care to find out. Now I’m not saying that Kate is back to her hardbodied self, but you know, she’s no longer Nicole Ritchie, and that’s a good thing.

We’ve all heard the rumors, about how much of a bloodbath Warner Brothers took on Bryan Singer’s “Superman Returns”, and how this has effectively nixed Singer’s plans to “go all ‘Wrath of Kahn’” on the sequel. Apparently Supes is still alive and kicking after all, because according to Variety, financiers Legendary has signed on to put up half of the money for the “Superman Returns” sequel. Good for them! Now if they can only convince Lois Lane (aka Kate Bosworth) to start eating solid food again, because that stick figure of hers is really starting to creep me out…

There is a scene in “Superman Returns” where Kate Bosworth, playing Lois Lane, steps up on Superman’s boots and they float up into the sky. Now normally carrying an adult woman would be a chore, even for ol Supes, but since the woman is Kate Bosworth, it’s probably like he’s carrying air. I mean, have you seen Kate Bosworth lately? Or at least since the last time I joked about someone giving the poor starving woman a sandwich? The woman has gotten so thin it’s scary. Here she is with boyfriend Orlando Bloom (hey, I thought they split up?) at the premiere of “Superman Returns” after party, looking all Lara Flynn Boyle on us. I’d hit that?

Remember when Kate Bosworth used to be fit and athtletic, and when people saw her, they went, “Wow, she’s really curvy and attractive”? This was from way back in her “Blue Crush” days, oh, 4 years ago. But lately ol Kate has gotten so thin that her face is literally hollowing out right before our eyes. And what is the deal with the big ass hair from the ’70s? She’s way too thin now to handle that kind of a load. No wonder Orlando bailed…

Well, not really. Here’s Brandon Brouth, the new Superman, teaming up with Christian Bale, the new Batman, while Kate Bosworth, the new Lois Lane, gets in on the action. From the looks of it, looks like this is from the recent 2006 MTV Movie Awards. Who else gives out golden popcorns but those dorks at MTV?

From the files of, “Things Clark Kent would never approve of,” comes these oldie but goodies of Kate Bosworth (aka Lois Lane version 2.0) doing something with a lollipop that is soooo not “reporterly” of her. But man, does it look great or what? Lollipops have all the fun.

It’s almost Summer, and you know what that means — it’s time for actors and actresses to go all out to shill for their big-budget Summer Event films! And the biggest one of them all has to be “Superman Returns”, starring Kate Bosworth as Lois Lane 2.0 and Brandon Routh as Superman 2.0.
