Hollywood Top 5: Hottest NYPD Blue Cops

Let’s face it: besides being the first show on TV to show bare (and oftentimes very unseemingly male) buttocks (I’m looking at you, Dennis Franz), ABC’s NYPD Blue also constantly offered up some of the hottest female cops to ever put on the fake police badge. And we’re going to ignore the non-cop characters here, like Sherry Stringfield or the slew of hot D.A.’s that followed her. Even with just limiting our scope to the female Detectives of the show, we have our hands full trying to sift through the ladies, because honestly, there are a lot of them. So let’s begin, shall we? Here, then, are our Hottest NYPD Blue cops.

Kim Delaney Goes to War in Army Wives

Every now and then I see an old TV show that I like and wonder where an actor from that show has gone. Kim Delaney is such a person. I saw her again on “NYPD Blue” (TNT repeats it ad nauseaum) and thought, “Huh, look, it’s Kim. I wonder what she’s been up to?” Well according to IMDB, our Kim has been doing quite a bit. The problem is, she’s been in a bunch of stuff that I don’t watch, including stints on “The O.C.”, “Law and Order: SVU”, and not one, but two movies about Earthquakes called “10.5″. Her latest stable gig is a regular role on “Army Wives”, which happens to also star JAG castaway Catherine Bell. You can catch Kim and Catherine on Lifetime Channel’s “Army Wives”, which has its premiere today, June 3rd.
