I will admit it, I’ve been down on Kirsten Dunst lately. She hasn’t exactly looked good in anything she’s been in, and I’m talking everything from movies to just everyday life. She just seems to be going down faster than Britney Spears’ sanity. But I’ll grant her this, Kirsten Dunst is looking pretty damn good here. The legs, the seductive poses, the legs — did I mention the legs? I love women with long legs, I think you can figure that out from my obsession with Stacy Keibler. You know, if the cinematic version of Mary Jane Watson had been (and dressed) this slutty in the movies, most of the guys out there might not have been wishing the Hobgoblin would kill her off so that Gwen Stacy could take her place. Because let’s admit it, one of the worst aspects of “Spider-Man 3″ was Kirsten Dunst, who looked so utterly bored with the role that she can’t even manage to be mildly attractive. But leave it to the guys over at Sideshow Collectibles, who are offering this doll of Mary Jane Watson (they call it Mary Jane Comiquette, whatever the hell “comiquette” means) in tight jeans that reveals her thong strings and generous cleavage.
Sony Wants 3 More Sequels for Spider-Man

This falls under the category of, “Well, DUH!” Of course Sony wants to do three more “Spider-Man” sequels after the $300-plus box office take that “Spider-Man 3″ has already webbed up in just a few weeks of release, which includes just 3 days in the States. By the end of this week, “Spider-Man 3″ will have easily recouped its mammoth $200-plus production budget, and will be in the black. Or should we say, in the green. But the real question is: Will Tobey Maguire and Sam Raimi be back for those three more movies? I somehow doubt it. Raimi seems to have done all that he wants with the franchise, and Maguire looks so bored with the role in the last movie. You’ll notice that I didn’t wonder if Kirsten Dunst will be back. Ahem.
SPIDER-MAN 3 Set to Dominate the World

No, seriously. Sony seems to have developed some kind of meglomaniacal plan when it comes to releasing “Spider-Man 3″. The film has already bowed in Asia and parts of Europe to record ticket sales, and will be opening wide in 4,253 theaters across America on Friday, the largest release in history. All this, despite very lukewarm reviews for the film so far. The AP wrote: “Spidey the Third feels like an even greater letdown following Spidey Part Deux, which was the rare sequel that surpassed the original.” But according to Rotten Tomatoes, the film has a 71% approval, with 32 positive reviews and 13 negative reviews among the counted reviewers so far.

This is the last time I’m going to be posting pictures from the upcoming “Spiderman 3″, because frankly, after a while there isn’t a whole lot left to post, and the film will be released May 4th, 2007 anyway. But these batch are pretty new, and I don’t recall seeing a whole lot of them online yet. There are also some really good pictures of Bryce Dallas Howard as Gwen Stacy, and I’m finding her more and more appealing in the role. She certainly looks a lot more fresh than Kirsten Dunst as Mary Jane. Maybe it’s just me, but like Julia Stiles, Dunst looks 30 going on 40. Anyways, enjoy the latest “Spider-Man 3″ pics.
Kirsten Dunst Gives Herself too Much Credit

In a recent interview with someone for something, Kirsten Dunst was asked about a possible “Spider-Man 4″ movie without Tobey Maguire and her in starring roles, and without Sam Raimi directing. To which Dunst replied: “Audiences aren’t stupid. It’d be a big flop without me, Tobey or Sam.” Um, okay, you almost got two-thirds of that sentence right, Kirsten. A “Spider-Man 4″ without Maguire and Raimi wouldn’t make as much money as the previous three (and I’m assuming that “Spider-Man 3″ is going to make buttloads of money, I dare ya to disagree), but it would still score pretty big base off the “Spider-Man” name recognition alone. But as to how much your disappearance would negatively impact the film’s box office? About zilch to none, babe. Sorry to haveta break it to ya, but you ain’t that important to the franchise.
SPIDER-MAN 3 Final HD Trailer

To be honest with you, after seeing so man variations of the “Spider-Man 3″ trailer, I don’t know if this “Final HD Trailer” currently hosted at Yahoo! Movies is anything new. Although I do notice a couple of new things, such as Gwen Stacy (Dallas Bryce Howard), who I finally see in a trailer, and a lot more scenes with Topher Grace as Venom. Though curiously, not a whole lot is even mentioned of the Sandman (Thomas Haden Church). But check out the stills from the trailers below and judge for yourself if this trailer is anything new, cause like all of the HD trailers, it’s a big motha.
Tobey Maguire is Open to a SPIDER-MAN 4

Despite having said previously that while he’s open to a “Spider-Man 4″, but doesn’t see himself doing it, Tobey Maguire is now saying to Sci Fi Wire that he’s very open to a fourth film if “there’s a story worth telling.” I.e. “Yeah, I’ll do it if the paycheck is high enough.” Let’s admit it, folks, at this point there’s no reason for Tobey to continue doing the Spider-Man movies. He’s a talented actor, and he must realize that every time he commits to a new Spider-Man movie, that means at least 2 years out of his life that he can’t do anything else. So why would he want to do a fourth film? Forget art, it’s about the paycheck. And as a fan of the first two films (and I’ll probably love the third film from all I’ve seen), I want Tobey to do a fourth film. I just hope he doesn’t phone it in if Sam Raimi doesn’t come back to keep him focused.

Speaking of “Spider-Man 3″, here’s Tobey Maguire’s co-star in the comic book movie, Kirsten Dunst, doing the bikini thing over the weekend in Maui, Hawaii. Everytime I see pictures of celebrities frolicking on beaches in bikinis, the first thing that pops into my head is: “Damn, being famous rocks.” What other job lets you jet away to Hawaii beaches “over the weekend”? None, that’s what. Well, maybe Bill Gates could do it, but Gates wouldn’t because his pale body would scare away all the tourists, and I’m sure there are laws against Bill Gates wearing bikinis. Speaking of pale skin, here’s Kirsten Dunst doing the bikini thang. Girl needs a tan!
7 Minutes of “Spider-Man 3″ in HD at NBC

In case you missed it, NBC has teamed up with whoever it is that produces “Spider-Man 3″ to bring you 7 full minutes from the upcoming movie over at their website. You probably also caught a 1-minute long trailer during tonight’s “Heroes” episode, but in case you didn’t, you are an idiot, because it means you don’t watch “Heroes”, which is, bar none, the greatest show on TV right now. In any case, better run to NBC and get your free 7 minutes, because they’re only going to be keeping it online for 24 hours only, which means that if you found this post after March 6, 2007, then, er, just pretend you didn’t see nuthin’. (Added: Yahoo! Movies has posted the 7-minute clip at their own site. I’m going to assume the clip will stay on their site longer than NBC’s.)

We’ve seen Kirsten Dunst as a blonde (mostly), as a redhead (for the “Spiderman” movies), and now she’s gone brunette. I suppose it’s one of those girl’s prerogative to change their haircolor every now and then. The dark color doesn’t look bad on Kirsten in these pictures, but the whole “Goth” make-up on the other hand… Smell that? It’s another Hollywood starlet trying to bust free of her “innocent” image. Make room, Mandy Moore and Anne Hatheway!

Nerds and geeks alike got a taste of Hollywood earlier this week when not one, but two hotties from the set of “Spiderman 3″ paid them a visit at the 2006 Comic Con in San Diego. Redhead hottie Mary Jane Watson herself (played by a blonde Kirsten Dunst) and blondie Gwen Stacy (played by a redhead Bryce Dallas Howard) both attended, giving dorks who have never been laid a double dose of wet dream ammunition. Note: I had no idea Bryce Dallas Howard had such striking eyes. She easily overwhelms the kinda plain looking Kirsten Dunst when the two are in the same photo.
