Kyra Sedgwick’s The Closer Breaks Records

People love Kyra Sedgwick, and I can see why. She’s an incredibly affable doll, and it comes through in her TV show “The Closer”, which broke all kinds of cable record when it premiered for its third season. According to Variety, “The Closer” scored 8.8 million viewers, a record for Monday night at 9 on ad-supported cable. The show stars Sedgwick as a tough Southern cop who comes to L.A. to solve high-profile crimes using a combination of toughness, Southern charm, and a curiously obsessive love for and fear of sweets. You’ve got to see this show, it’s killer.
