I know nothing about our Latin Flavor, Isabel Madow, except that she’s quite the babe. Here’s Wikipedia to fill us in: “She began her career appearing as the always silent secretary of television host Brozo the Clown (played by Victor Trujillo). After she left the program she entered the Mexican edition of Big Brother VIP; later she flew to Spain to participate temporarily in that country’s edition, where she was filmed being intimate with one of the contestants. She appeared in the cover of the Mexican edition of Playboy in May, 2005. Currently she stars a theatre play and has plans to become a singer.” Oooh, another Big Brother alum. What CAN’T that show do?

I could pretend to know a lot about our Latin Flavor of the Day, Jaydy Michel, or I could just let Wikipedia tell it: “Born to a Mexican father and an American mother, Jaydy Michel grew up in Puerto Vallarta, although she was born in Guadalajara, the capital of the state of Jalisco. She began her modeling career in Mexico, first in beauty pageants such as Miss Jalisco. One day a friend of her mother explained everything there was to know about modeling and recommended that she go to Europe. Jaydy Michel went to Spain in 1994. That is where she began her career as an international model. Since then, she has been featured in many top magazines and fashion shows, both in Mexico and Europe.” I like how Wikipedia tells it.

According to Wikipedia, our Latin Flavor of the day Gloria Trevi is an “iconic Mexican pop-rock singer, songwriter, cartoonist, actress, pinup-model, forward/fashion designer, writer and painter.” Basically, according to Wikipedia, Gloria Trevi not only invented the world’s space programs, but she’s already been to the moon and back, and now she’s preparing to go to Mars to start her own colony of Glorian race. Or maybe not. In any case, here’s our Latin Flavor of the day Gloria Trevi in Maxim. She looks pretty good for a gal nearing the big 40. I guess they just feed their girls better down South.

Our Latin Flavor of the day is Catherine Siachoque, who is from Colombia with love. Or hate, if she doesn’t like you. Personally I prefer to keep hot Latin girls on my good side, because of stereotypes are true (and really, how could they NOT be? they’re all based on fact, aren’t they?), then a Latina will beat your ass up if you cross her. In any case, Catherine Siachoque is a Spanish TV actress, and you can see one of her work below. And yes, the scene does show Catherine Siachoque in a two-piece bikini because, heck, if one is available, why WOULDN’T you show it? Exactly.

As my five or so daily visitors know, my Spanish begins and ends with the word “hola”, which of course means “Dude, where’s my car?” Because, you know, I lost my car once in Mexico and that’s what people kept saying to me, so that’s what it has to mean, right? Anyhoo. Our Latin Flavor of the day is Andrea Garcia, who if the entry for a “Andrea Garcia” on IMDB.com is correct, means she’s an actress from Mexico who has been in the TV shows “Código postal”, “Pantera, El”, and something called “Al diablo con los guapos”. Then again, if that isn’t her, nevermind.
11 December 2007
Our Latin Flavor for the day is model Barbara Herrera, who hails from Lima, Peru, where I’m told they make really good lima beans. Right? Well, that’s what I heard, anyway. I could be wrong, of course, and in fact I probably am, but what are you gonna do? Can’t be right all the time. Barbara has done work for Abercrombie & Fitch, Bloomingdales, Honora, Kohl’s, Macy’s, Nordstrom, and my personal favorite, modeling in my basement. Wait, did she really do that or was that one of my wacky fantasies? Either/or.

To be honest with you, I don’t know why it’s taken me this long to post Paulina Rubio in our Latin Flavor category. God knows I’ve been aware of the spicy Mexican singer for a long time now, but, you know, I’m going senile and whatnot. But hey, better late than never, right? Paulina is a Latin Grammy-nominated Mexican singer and actress, and she looks really, really good in red, as these pictures will attest. So what else about Paulina do you need to know? Well for one, she’s very fine, and for two, I think she was on the scene well before Shakira.

Why go all the way down South to Brazil or Venezuela or Mexico when we have plenty of flavorable latinas to add to the Latin Flavor column here in the good ol USA? Gals such as Jennifer Esposito, for instance, former star of Spin City turned movie star turned TV star again. Well, Jennifer Esposito had a movie career going there for a moment, but it probably wasn’t a good idea starring in a movie with Jimmy Fallon. (Seriously, have you ever met a guy who laughed more at his own jokes? What an annoying jackass.) Anyhoo. You can currently catch Jennifer Esposito on ABC’s Samantha Who, which co-stars Christina Applegate, the girl from Married with Children.

Get ready to know the name of our Latin Flavor of the day, Alice Braga. The Brazilian stunner burst onto the scene in 2002 with the critically acclaimed movie City of God, and has since parlayed that into a co-starring role in this year’s sure-to-be-massive-hit I am Legend with Will Smith. If the last name sounds familiar, that’s because Alice Braga is the niece of Sonia Braga, who cinephiles will know was a major sex symbol in her heyday. Alice hails from São Paulo, Brazil, thus justifying her entry in the column. Check her out in I am Legend before she blows up big time with no less than three movies coming out in 2008 alone.

I know what you’re thinking: why I always gotta be going down south for my Latin Flavors? It’s obvious there are plenty of flavorable Latinas up here in the good ol USA. Well yeah, but you know, they’re so much more spicy down there. Take Sandra Echeverria for example. She a Mexican actress, most famous for her Telemundo soap operas; sure, she’s just now trying to make a name for herself in the States (she’s got a big part in some motocross movie or something, I forgot the name of it), but you gotta admit she’s pretty darn spicy, and she originated from down south first. See? There is a reason to my madness after all. Well, sort of.
3 December 2007
Our Latin Flavor of the day is Daniela Cicarelli, a Brazilian television show host and model who is sometimes credited as Daniella Cicarelli. I suppose it doesn’t matter how many L’s she has in her name, it’s the girl that matters. And in this case, the girl matters very much. She’s the host of MTV Brasil, and if you happen to live down there, you might have heard a little something about a certain tape involving our Latin Flavor and some lucky fella. The tape also included, as we hear, a little dalliance on the beach and in the water involving, well, you know.
2 December 2007
I’m putting Ainett Stephens in the Latin Flavor column, but I could have easily put her in the Italian Spice column, which doesn’t actually have its own official column, but you know, unofficially, it is a column. Anyhoo. Ainett Stephens is currently most famous for her hosting duties on Italian TV (hence the Italian Spice reference), but she’s originally from Caracas, Venezuela, which means she fits into our Latin Flavor column. Okay, now that all of that is out of the way, some of her credits include stints on Buona Domenica, Real TV, Il Mercante in fiera, Azzardo The Match, and the Italian version of Big Brother. You know who doesn’t have their own version of Big Brother? Alaska. But that’s coming, you mark my words…
25 November 2007
Who is Paola Andrea Rey and why does she make us tingle all over? Well for one she’s our Latin Flavor of the day; secondly, she’s an actress from Bogota, Colombia, and primarily goes by Paola Rey, but since we like to be thorough around here (sort of; look, just go with it), we’ve called her Paola Andrea Rey, and that’s how it’s gonna be, whether you like it or not. Anyhoo. According to her bio on IMDB.com, besides flashing that killer body and face on Columbian TV, our girl likes to indulge in car races, which is probably why she’s dating a race car driver at the moment. See, this is why I always wanted to be a race car driver. You get to be fast and if they complain, you can just say, “Hey, I’m a race car driver; I’m just used to being fast!” Etc.
24 November 2007
According to her bio on IMDB.com, our Latin Flavor for today, Magda Gomes, hails from Sao Paulo, Brazil, which if my geographical knowledge is right, that’s somewhere between Texas and Canada. Her credits include playing herself on the TV show “Markette” (must have been a stretch, that role), and stints in the TV mini-series “Porto dos Milagres” and “Um Só Coração”. Other than those things, I know absolutely nothing about her, except that she has the long, lean body and the pedigree (she’s Brazilian, nuff said) to make it as a supermodel. Although that stomach could use a little work, but then again, whose stomach couldn’t?
20 November 2007
On her myspace page, found here, our Latin Flavor of the day, Rachel Sterling, states about her television habits: “We watch “Good Day L.A.” every morning and ” I love lucy” and at night we watch “Talk Soup” I love that guy… I want to be that guy…i think I may be as funny as that guy…??” Um, Rachel, I don’t know if you can be as funny as that guy on that show, but you can definitely be as hot as you wanna be. Besides looking scrumpilicious (I’ve been told that is a word), she’s also an actress. Check out a commercial she did for Michael Crichton’s new novel “Next” below. And oh yeah, I think she’s doing something with the Pussycat Dolls.
18 November 2007
You know, I feel kind of bad always reaching down south or thereabouts for our Latin Flavor columns. It’s about time I looked for an entry among our American Latinas, such as Aimee Garcia, one of the stars on ABC’s The George Lopez Show, starring that George Lopez guy. (Gee, I wonder how he got the job.) On the show, Aimee plays Lopez’s bombshell niece, who can twist men around her arms like little ants. I’m sure in real life Aimee Garcia isn’t like that, but even if she was, uh, would anyone care? Check out that darling face and that body. Yowsers. You did good hiring her, Georgie, now if only you can make the show, you know, funny, or something. But maybe that’s asking too much…

Mexican model and former beauty pageant Daniela Cosio started life as an entrant in Nuestra Belleza México, aka the official beauty pageant of Mexico, where she placed second to the eventual winner. I have no idea who that winner is, but she probably hasn’t done much with her crown. Daniela Cosio, meanwhile, has gone on to do some good work as a model. According to her Myspace page, she splits her time between Mexico Ciy, Baja, and Miami. When she’s in Miami next time she should give me a ring. The girl is hot, and hails from Baja California Sur, which according to my genius geographical skills, puts her somewhere in the Atlantic Ocean. I think.
6 November 2007
Our Latin Flavor of the day is actress Carolina Cerezuela, an actress/model who hails from Elche, Alicante, Spain. According to her bio on IMDB.com, Carolina “has joined the cast of Hospital Central and she will play the new character of Verónica Solé in the new season of the series that will be aired since September.” We’re guessing Veronica will be very sexy and have lots of fun games with the doctors in the stairwells. Then again, maybe it’s a serious show and there are no sex in the stairwells, which would be a shame, as any show with hot women in nurse smock should definitely involve fornication in strange locations. But I digress.
5 November 2007
Two things: I’m going to guess that Lindsay Rodriguez fits into our category Latin Flavor based on her last name; and two, I hear that she’s an MTV VJ, although since I don’t watch MTV at all (if I was a vampire, MTV would be my sunlight), I can’t tell you if that’s true or not, but I’m going to go with it being true. After all, the Internet has never lied to me before, so why would it start now? Precisely. That, incidentally, is also how I found out that space aliens have been probing me every night since 2002, in case you were wondering. Where was I? Oh right, Lindsay Rodriguez is a saucy Latina, and we look forward to seeing more of her.

Sara Santos, besides looking beguiling in a two piece bikini, confuses and confounds me, which hasn’t happened since I was forced to take that math class in fifth grade, but I had forgotten how to add two plus two because the night before I spent the whole day playing basketball and got hit in the head with a ball while going for a rebound. True story. Anyways, what was I saying? Oh right, our Latin Flavor of the day, Sara Santos, is really hot, and, stuff. Seriously, folks, if you still need me to justify these posts after all this time, you’re reading the wrong site. The girl is hot, and you’ve probably never heard of her before, but you have now, so just go with it.
