Don’t know who our Latin Flavor of the Day, Lymari Nadal, is? Don’t worry, you’re gonna know her very soon when she makes her big screen Hollywood debut as Denzel Washington’s love interest in “American Gangster”, one of those Hollywood films filled to the brim with A-list talent behind and in front of the camera. In the film, our gorgeous Puerto Rican leading lady plays Eva. The film itself stars Washington as a real-life Harlem drug dealer being pursued by Russell Crowe. The guy behind the camera? Ridley Frakkin’ Scott. Basically, Lymari Nadal couldn’t have picked a perfect movie to make her American movie debut. She’s gonna blow, kids, and you can say you saw her here first.

Our Latin Flavor of the Day is Carla Conte, an Argentinian model from down south who looks really good in a two-piece bikini, or basically whatever it is she decides to wear in any given day. Speaking of which, I once had a friend who wanted me to visit Argentina with him, which was a pretty good idea, except he wanted to only pay for half of my plane ticket. Now you’ll understand if I was a little weirded out. I mean, he wants me to go with him, but he only wants to pay for half of my plane ticket? That didn’t make any sense, so I told him so, and he took another of our mutual friend instead. The bastard. Anyways, what this any of that have to do with Carla Conte? Um, nothing. What, does everything have to do with something else? Open your mind, man!

Our Latin Flavor for today is Luli Miller, who is yet another Brazilian model/actress, so what else is new? I swear, I don’t know what they’re feeding those girls down there, but man, they should keep it up! If only we could get our brilliant scientists together and somehow find a way to use these Brazilian models as a source of power. We could, like, stick one Brazilian into our basement and use her to generate electricity. Think about it: It would be clean and efficient power! All we would have to do is feed her once a day, and every other day, send someone downstairs to snap pictures of her to convince her she was still on a fashion runway. And whenever she walked back and forth on the faux runway, she would be generating power. I’m telling you, it could work! Anyhoo. Luli Miller.

Who knew the Mexicans were producing TV hosts that looks like Rebecca de Alba nowadays? Well God bless them, because they are. Our Latin Flavor of the day is Rebecca de Alba, who hails from Zacatecas, Mexico, and despite being forty-four years young, she puts girls half her age to shame with that killer body and gorgeous face. The former Avon model turned TV personality once dated Ricky Martin, but that’s over now because, well, Ricky is gay, right? I thought someone told me he was gay. You guys are telling me he’s not? Oh well, it’s his lost, because if Rebecca de Alba was into me, I’d do everything to keep her. The woman is smoking hot, bros.
8 October 2007
Our Latin Flavor entry for today is Maite Perroni, a Mexican singer and actress who hails from Mexico City, Mexico, not to be confused with Mexico City, Texas. (I’m just kidding, there isn’t such a city in Texas, and if there was, just ignore this last statement.) Where as I? Oh right, Maite Perroni is most famous for being a member (and obviously, the hottest member) of the Mexican band RBD, whose fame has spread to other parts of Latin America, up north to the United States, and even parts of Europe. Other than that, she’s just really hot, and we like how she looks in a one-piece and two-piece bikini.
4 October 2007
Our Latin Flavor of the day Mariana Mancini is extremely flavorable; it’s just too bad we don’t have a whole lot of her pictures to show you. But what we do have is pretty damn awesome, and they certainly let you see what it is about Mariana Mancini that made us feature her in the first place. She’s one of the contestants on the Latin version of Big Brother, called Gran hermano over down South. In this case, the fifth season. I don’t know if she won or not, because let’s face it, I’m way too lazy to do more research than the above, which already took too much out of me. I mean, come on, what am I, a library? But I digress. Enjoy some Mariana Mancini yumminess.
2 October 2007
Paula Santos is very Latin Flavorish, but I can’t tell you all that much about her. She’s a model and actress who has been in magazines like FHM (where these pictures are from), but I can’t tell you anything about her, except for this brief entry in IMDB.com, which lists her as playing a character called Carolina Calisto on a show called “Morangos Com Açúcar”. Apparently that show has been on forever, with 100 episodes or so to its credit, so I guess that means it’s pretty popular. Or it could be pretty crappy, like the Godawful Two and a Half Men, and people are only keeping it on the air because they don’t know any better. But nevermind all that. Paula Santos is hot.
1 October 2007
Our Latin Flavor of the day is Mafalda Teixeira, a model and actress who I found a listing for at IMDB.com, but nowhere else. Even the trusty Wikipedia doesn’t have an actual listing for her, which is lame and a tad little disconcerting, as anyone who isn’t listed on Wikipedia can’t possibly exist. Or if they exist, then they can’t be trusted, sort of like aliens who have come here to subjugate us by making us really horny and then refusing to touch us. Um, I mean, Mafalda Teixeira is really hot, and looks even better in a two-piece bikini. Here she is in a magazine that looks like Maxim but isn’t called Maxim. But they, who cares about the title, it’s all about the half-dressed girl.
21 September 2007
So who is Wanda Nara, our Latin Flavor for the day? I’m not sure, but it sure looks like she’s liking that microphone! Hey, maybe it’s not so strange. Once I developed a very unhealthy fixation with a pencil, and started chewing and chewing and chewing until there was nothing left but a stump. It was kind of disturbing, actually, but I guess that’s what Wanda Nara must be feeling toward this microphone she’s introducing to her mouth and lips and tongue and — oh my. Anyways, I don’t know the first thing about Wanda Nara, but she sure looks good, and basically that’s enough for us. Enjoy.

Is it just me, or does it seem like everyone who is an ex-beauty pageant ends up with some semblance of a career once their beauty reign is over EXCEPT American beauty queens? I can name on one hand the number of ex-beauty queens that have managed a career post-crowning, and that’s basically just Vanessa Williams (the pretty one, not the one with the dreadlocks). So here’s Veruska Ramirez, our Latin Flavor of the day, a former Miss Venezuela who has parlayed her beauty pageant win into a successful modeling career. Veruska almost won, too, coming in second in the Miss Universe pageant in 1998 only to Miss Trinidad and Tobago. She’ll always be number one in our book, though.

Oh, those Latin girls and their flavorful bodies. Thank God there is an endless supply of them out there, or this lame ass column might have gone the way of the dodo birds a long time ago. Like, two years ago, probably. (Wait, has the column been around that long? Well, probably not, but just go with it.) In any case, although I can’t find jack on Debora Montenegro on the Internet, I’m reasonably certain she’s from down South Central America thereaways, but if not, let’s just pretend. And hey, is it just me or does Debora Montenegro look a heck of a lot like “24″ star Kim Raver? I’m telling you, the two ladies could be twins. Now if they would only stand next to each other wearing very little clothes…

Don’t mistake Fernanda Lima for her fellow countrymen Adriana Lima, although the two does look kinda similar. That is, if you’re frakkin’ blind, because they don’t look anything alike. Besides having a better body (love the abs work, Fernanda), Fernanda Lima doesn’t have a half-bad face. She’s also got more oomph in the career department, working as a Brazilian actress, TV host and of course, model. And hey, she’s even socially conscience — there are a couple of pictures of her here at the recent Live Earth concert. Yeah, yeah, I know, Live Earth was a waste of everyone’s time, but since Fernanda Lima was there, I’m going to say it was good and go with it. Check out Fernanda Lima and her tattoos.
7 September 2007
Who is Belen Rodriguez, our Latin Flavor of the day? I don’t know, but I sure would like to get to know her a little bit more, and by “know her” I of course mean hide behind the bush in front of her house with a telephoto lens, except, of course, I don’t have a camera, and I can’t work a telephoto camera to save my life, which is really weird and pathetic, in case you were wondering. Anyhoo. As far as I can tell, Belen Rodriguez is a model and actress, but more of a model, since IMDB only lists a couple of credits to her name, and she’s seen a lot in magazines like Matrix and others. And plus, anyone who looks this fantastic in a two-piece bikini is more model than actress, I don’t know what anyone else says.
4 September 2007
Our Latin Flavor of the day is Vanessa Romero, not to be confused with Vanessa Romero who is the daughter of George A. Romero, the guy who made all those zombies movies. Well, actually, I’m just kidding. I don’t think Romero has a daughter name Vanessa, I just needed some crap to fill up this post. Having said that, Vanessa Romero is a model and actress, and according to IMDB.com: “Participated in the beauty contest Miss España 1998 and win in Miss Internacional in the same year.” I’m assuming “Miss Internacional” is the same as “Miss International”, but don’t hold me to it. My Spanish sucks, and I can’t imagine what the heck a “Miss International” would be. But I digress. Here’s Vanessa wowing in FHM.
3 September 2007
You know the great thing about our Latin Flavor category? Basically, ninety percent of every women I slot into this category are total mysteries to me. I mean, I’ve never even heard of them until some reader emails me their pictures or alerts me to them, or I stumble across them at a talk show or on Univision doing something wacky with a midget. The latest is Marixa Balli, who, like the most of everyone I’ve posted here, I absolutely know nothing about, and Wikipedia and IMDB was no help at all on this matter. As a result, you’ll just have to take my word for it that she’s worth posting and take a gander at the pix.
29 August 2007
Former Miss Universe Alicia Machado won her crown in 1996 when the pageant was held in Vegas, so it’s a wonder she managed to ever leave the States and return to her native Venezuela. And here I thought whenever someone goes to Vegas they never leave. You know, sort of like the roach motel. But I digress. After winning her crown, Alicia became a TV commercial model and even got engaged to baseball player Bobby Abreu. Although she’s originally from and made her fame in Venezuela, Alicia has moved to Mexico, where she became the first former Miss Universe to pose in Playboy Magazine. Or the Mexican edition, anyway. The ORIGINAL beauty queen gone bad, if you will.
28 August 2007
It’s not everyday you find a supermodel showing up in men’s magazines like Maxim or Gente or others of their ilk, but apparently the standards down under are different for the supermodels, and thank God, or else we wouldn’t get Nicole Neumann in Gente and other similarly themed magazines looking smoking hot. And make no mistake, Nicole Neumann is such a hottie that if you were to put an egg on your monitor right now, it would — well, it would really ruin your monitor, so I don’t recommend doing it. What I’m trying to say is, our Latin Flavor of the day is deserving of more posts, so look out for Nicole Neumann to return to the Random Page. That’s just how we like to roll around these parts.
27 August 2007
Her name is Monica Noguera and she was recently in FHM Magazine. She’s also, um, I don’t know. Here’s what I could find out about here from here: “She might not sing or play the piano, but Telemundo’s Mónica Noguera lives and breathes music. In her exclusive interview in Siempre Mujer’s August/September issue, the Mexican beauty talks about her love of music – from her days as a kid studying jazz and modern dance, to her current gigs traveling with some of the world’s most famous musicians like Ricky Martin and Luis Miguel – and says she never leaves home without her iPod.” There you go.
24 August 2007
Grazielli Massafera is yet another product of the Big Brother series, which is quickly becoming the worst show on TV, and yet the best show to produce some major hotties. Grazielli Massafera is now officially a Big Brother hottie. But wait, Grazielli Massafera is not just a Reality TV show has-been, she was actually something before she entered the faux house. Says Wikipedia: “In 2004, Massafera won the Miss Paraná Beauty pageant contest, and represented the state in that year’s Miss Brasil contest. She finished third, which earned her the title of “Miss Brasil Internacional”, which symbolizes the right to represent the country in the Miss International contest, held annually in China.” See?
23 August 2007
It’s been a while since we made another entry into the Random Supermodel of the Day (which sorta defeats the purpose of calling the category “Random Supermodel OF THE DAY”, but I digress), but that’s only because we haven’t found anyone to put in here. But now we have. Her name is Nicole Neumann, and later this month we’ll add her to our Latin Flavor and sorta cheat, but shhhhh — don’t tell anyone. Our girl is an Argentinian supermodel and actress, and if that isn’t enough to get you excited, how about this — she has a sister named Geraldine who is ALSO a supermodel. How you like them apples? (And I hope you love apples…)
