I think I’ve made my policy regarding alien invasion pretty clear. If we’re going to get invaded by anyone, at least they should look like the girls of “Battlestar Galactica” or at least the girls of the new “V” TV show, Morena Baccarin and Laura Bandervoort. Hey, is that asking for too much? I don’t think so. Fortunately for us, we have Elizabeth Mitchell to help fight them off. Here are some Season 1 promos for ABC’s new “V” show, which is set to premiere later this year as a 4-hour mini-series. Me likey muchy.

I never actually watched a whole lot of Smallville, mostly because Clark Kent got way too old, and I got tired of waiting for him to leave the farm and put on the red and blue outfit already. He never did. I think the show teased it over and over again but he never did. Then again, since I don’t actually watch the show, I wouldn’t know. I’ve seen previews, though. Does that count? Anyhoo, I bring up Smallville because Laura Vandervoort was one of its stars. She was Supergirl, I think. And speaking of super, man, does she look super in these jeans!

Who says you have to fight off alien invasions? Okay, so maybe Laura Vandervoort and Morena Baccarin’s characters are actually lizards underneath those human skin of theirs, but whatever, as long as they leave the skin on, it’s all good. Just like the hottie Cylons from Battlestar Galactica, the alien lizards of the new V TV show are definitely good reasons to go along with the whole human subjugation and Earth domination thing. Sure, being slaves will probably suck, but wouldn’t it be worth it? Maybe? Okay, probably not so much, but one can dream. Laura Vandervoort and Morena Baccarin promos for their new show V.

Remember that movie with Jessica Alba in a bikini for 99% of the time? It was called “Into the Blue”. Yeah, I don’t remember anything about it, either, except Jessica Alba was in a bikini for pretty much the entire movie. Well they made a direct-to-DVD sequel, and this one stars Laura Vandervoort from TV’s Smallville. Yes, Supergirl herself. Now you get to see what made her so “super” to begin with. Hint: it’s the body. Those long legs, long flowing blonde hair, perfect face. Basically, the whole shebang. Here are some promos featuring Laura Vandervoort in a (what else?) bikini from the movie, called “Into the Blue 2: The Reef”. It’s about pirates and treasure or something. Point is, Laura Vandervoort is in a bikini through most of it. Nuff said.

Going under the never-done-me-wrong-yet assumptions of, “If it feels good, then do it,” and “If it was great the first time, why wouldn’t it be great the second and third time, too?”, here are more bikini pictures of Smallville star Laura Vandervoort, who will no doubt be going on to more fame and fortune beyond the idiot tube. Or hey, if her movie career doesn’t take off, she can always take solace from the fact that she’ll always be a major star in my fantasies, and let me assure you, I’m pretty selective. Anyhoo, here’s more of Laura Vandervoort on the set of her new movie “Into the Blue 2″, where, apparently, everyone wears a bikini. God Bless crappy direct-to-DVD sequels.

Hey, Smallville fans, I got some bad news for ya. If Supergirl in her short-shorts, midriff-baring shirt, and go-go boots was the reason you still tune into that aging show, then you’re probably not gonna be tuning in for long. Word on the Internet is that Laura Vandervoort, the Canadian Goddess who plays Supergirl on the show, will be only showing up for a few eps, and then she’ll be gone forever. Which will free Laura Vandervoort up time to do movies like “Into the Blue 2″, sequel to that Jessica Alba award winning film about really hot people in skimpy two-piece bikinis walking around beaches and diving into water and what have you. My guess is that this is Laura Vandervoort enjoying some downtime in-between shooting “Into the Blue 2″. I could be wrong, of course, but does it matter? Laura Vandervoort. Bikini. Ogle.

Hot girls on TV are pretty darn hot, but throw in a little super power, and all of a sudden it’s super power hot city. (Yeah, just go along with it.) So who are the hottest of the superpowered hot set? There are a lot of obvious ones (how about every girl that has ever showned up on either Buffy the Vampire Slayer or Angel, for starters), but some you might not have thought of. And we’re not just talking about superheroes, either; pretty much anyone with powers, bad girls and good girls, qualifies for our little list. Here then, is our Hollywood Top 5: The Hottest TV Superpowered Girls.

In case you haven’t been watching TV, or aren’t into “genre” TV stuff, but Smallville is getting a new star — Laura Vandervoort, who will be playing Clark Kent’s Kryptonian cousin, Kara, aka Supergirl. And yes, she’ll be able to fly, something Clark still can’t get a handle on, 6 years later. The guy is a slow learner, what can I say. Adding the gorgeous Canadian beauty Laura Vandervoort is obviously an attempt by the show’s creators to boost the show’s flagging ratings, but can you blame them? And do you care? I know I don’t! Good work, guys, keep it up! Now here’s Laura Vandervoort, aka Supergirl, in Stuff Magazine showing off her big chest — er, I mean, “S”.

Now I’m not saying that I’ll tune into the latest “Smallville” season just because the producers got desperate and introduced a hot blonde who likes to fly around Smallville with barely any clothes on, but I am saying — wait, yeah, I am saying I’ll do just that, and for just that reason. Look, it’s no surprise why they’re introducing the very hot Laura Vandervoort as the new Supergirl now. “Smallville” is getting a little long in the tooth. For God’s sake, how long can they convince us that Clark Kent can still stay on that farm? How old is Tom Welling now, 55? Seriously, though, they can only squeeze that whole Clark-Lana-Lex thing until it starts to get stale, and it’s STINKING up the joint now. So why not introduce Laura Vandervoort as Supergirl? I’ll certainly tune in to see the introduction episode.

Here’s your first look at Canadian actress Laura Vandervoort in costume (sort of) as Supergirl (thumbnail to your left, a bigger version of the image below). The image comes courtesy of the CW Network, who sent it over to the blokes over at SuperheroHype. (Man, I wish people would send me cool stuff like this!) You can catch blonde Goddess Laura Vandervoort playing a superhot Supergirl on the CW’s aging “Smallville” TV series when it comes back from break. I don’t know when that’ll end, but it’ll be worth waiting. I mean, come on, Laura Vandervoort is frakkin’ hot, guys.

“Smallville” TV fans are finally rejoicing after many seasons of mediocrity, because Canadian blonde hottie Laura Vandervoort has just been named the latest Kryptonian to come to our fair planet Earth. The CW has announced that Vandervoort, who hails from Toronto, Canada, has been cast as Supergirl, Clark Kent’s cousin, who has all of his powers, but none of his farm boy mentality. At least, in the comics. Which means if the “Smallville” show runners follow the comic book character, Laura Vandervoort will be parading around in that skimpy Supergirl outfit (short, short skirt and tight shirt) kicking villainous ass. Maybe she can finally deal with Lex Luthor. It’s pretty annoying how Clark just lets that dipshit do whatever he wants. I mean, come ON, Clark!
