Here at The Random Page, we’re very smitten with the gorgeous actress Leslie Mann, who is married to that Judd Apatow guy and usually does his movies as the housewife of the best friend or some such. The very HOT housewife of the best friend or some such. In “17 Again”, Leslie finally gets to be the leading lady. Sort of. In the movie, she’s married to some guy who through the magic of movies becomes 17 years old all over again, and sets about doing stuff 17 year olds do, like going to school and, you know, crap like that. Anyways, Leslie Mann is in it, and so is Michelle Trachtenberg, but I dare you to look at the two women and not notice that Mann just blows the younger kid away by a mile and a half. Hotchie matchie that’s one hot momma.

Leslie Mann in Drillbit Taylor Promos

In the new Judd Apatow-produced comedy “Drillbit Taylor”, Owen Wilson stops trying to kill himself (er, I mean, stops having medicinal “acicdents”) long enough to star as some guy who hires himself out as a bodyguard to a bunch of kids who are being bullied at school. He claims to be a badass ex-army dude, but of course, we know it’s false, since, well, if he was it wouldn’t be much of a comedy, would it? In any case, during the course of the film, Owen Wilson’s character, Drillbit Taylor, falls for Lisa, an English teacher played by the gorgeous Leslie Mann. The movie actually looks funny, and Leslie Mann is just icing on the cake. Seriously, it’s about time someone gave her a leading lady role instead of the “bitchy best friend” ala “Knocked Up”.

Zac Efron Gets Married to Leslie Mann in 17

Yeah I know, “Knocked Up” was a pretty funny movie, but the best part about it wasn’t even the comedy, it was watching Leslie Mann get a chance to really shine. She’s an amazingly beautiful woman, and incredibly talented to boot. Of course, it’s only in Hollywood that a woman this hot would marry a guy like Judd Apatow, who is, let’s just say, not exactly Brad Pitt. Leslie Mann’s latest movie is “17″, where she’ll play the wife of a character who somehow becomes his 17 year old self all over again, which means he has to relive high school and all that good stuff. It’s basically a retread of Tom Hanks’ “Big”, except starring that kid Zac Efron from “High School Musical” — or as my nephew calls it, crack for tweens. And did I mention Leslie Mann is really, really hot?

Man Leslie Mann is Hot

So I finally got around to watching the comedy hit Knocked Up, and yeah, it was as riotously funny (God I hate it when people say that) as people keep telling me, I’ll grant you that, and Katherine Heigl, the star of the movie, is pretty hot in it. But you know what? The babe that really caught my attention was Leslie Mann, who plays the older sister to Heigl. The character provides the film with a lot of its comedy, and Leslie Mann is just smoking hot throughout the movie, even though she was playing a mid-30s housewife with two kids and Paul Rudd for a husband. I’m telling you, Leslie Mann is a definite keeper, so look forward to seeing more of her here.

Katherine Heigl Gets KNOCKED UP

In her upcoming comedy “Knocked Up”, Katherine Heigl of “Grey’s Anatomy” fame (although for my money she’ll always been Steven Seagal’s niece or cousin or daughter (I forgot which) from “Under Siege 2″ — you remember, the one on the train, before Steven’s career went off the rails?) plays a girl who has a one-night stand, and ends up getting knocked up i.e. impregnated as a result. This forces her to pull the ol Hollywood gag — get married to the guy who knocked her up. Trailer for “Knocked Up” and gratuitously sexy pictures of Katherine below.
