Holly Valance Joins Maggie Grace in “Taken”

First Maggie Grace got roped to star in the upcoming Luc Besson picture “Taken”, and now Aussie babe Holly Valance will be joining the cast. This via MovieHole: “The Pierre Morel directed pic tells of a ex-soldier (Liam Neeson) who discovers his daughter (Maggie Grace) has been kidnapped by slave masters (sorry, nothing about ‘sex’ slaves in the synopsis here) in Europe. No word if Valance is the one holding the whip… or taking a whip.” Heh, I kinda like that last line.

Someone alert the presses: Maggie Grace has finally landed another movie job after ditching the island of “Lost” for moviedom, and running into a hacksaw called “box office dud” with the 2005 horror remake “The Fog” with that guy from “Smallville”. Via The Hollywood Reporter, here’s news that Maggie Grace has landed a role in “Taken”, a movie written and produced by Luc Besson and Robert Mark Kamen, and to be directed by Besson protege Pierre Morel, who last directed the urban action pic “Banlieue 13″.

Everyone loves the Emmys, so of course they’ll attend even the pre Awards show party — oh wait, did I say Emmys? I meant Oscars. Nobody gives a crap about the Emmys. Besides the star of the movie showing up at the UK premiere of “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest”, there were plenty of other bootilicious (Get it? Pirates? Booty? Her next movie is “The Girls’ Guide to Hunting & Fishing” with Sarah Michelle Gellar, but other than that, she doesn’t seem to have anythin gelse in the pipe.
