Singing diva Mariah Carey was never one to keep that nice, voluptuous body of hers hidden behind all that junk girls like to call clothes in her music videos and pretty much wherever she showed up, and as a member of the male species, I’d like to thank her for that open-minded attitude. Word is, Mariah has gotten hitched to some 20-something kid who also raps and acts in movies, and occasionally shows up on MTV or BET or one of those cable shows I try to avoid whenever possible, lest my delicate senses be overrun with crap. I bring all that up to say this: Mariah Carey is in the current issue of Vibe magazine, sporting that diva-ish body in a variety of swimwear.

Mariah Carey Thinks Clothes are for Chumps

Sometimes I wonder why Mariah Carey doesn’t just wake up naked, go to bed naked, and walk around naked. She certainly seems inclined to sing naked, if these pictures of her onstage are any indication. You’ve probably seen her videos, where she’s always wearing as little as possible. But what’s really disturbing about Mariah is how uncomfortable she looks walking around half-naked. The thing is, I don’t think she is uncomfortable, but she just has that, “Oh my god, I can’t believe I’m barely wearing any clothes” facial expression. Very odd.

Hot Chicks Love the ESPY Awards

The ESPYs, for those of you who don’t know (and that probably goes for most of you) is an Awards Show for, well, athletes. It’s the brainchild of ESPN, and basically hands out pre-approved awards to jocks in attendance in various categories. The whole thing is a big ruse for Hollywood stars to mingle with their athletic idols, and blah blah blah. This year’s awards show is hosted by Tour De Lance. But nevermind that. Hot chicks in attendance at this year’s ESPY includes Carmen “What am I Famous for again?” Electra, Christine “Don’t Call Me Marsha Marsha Marsha!” Taylor, Mariah “Boobies! Boobies for Everyone!” Carey, Ashley “I Married a French Guy!” Judd, Danica “I Like ‘Em Fast and Hard, Baby!” Patrick, Eva “I’m the OTHER Eva” Mendes, Maria “Someone Called for a Goddess?” Sharapova, and of course, Jessica “Just Call me Hard Body” Biel.

Mariah Carey is Actually Sexy…For Once

So sue me, but I never brought into Mariah Carey as a sex kitten. Her attempts to look sexy in her music videos — barely any clothes on, tight short-shorts, and mini-skirts that go up to her naughty bits, all reek of desperation to me, much like Christina Aguilera’s “dirty” persona. But anyways, this James Dimmock photoshoot Mariah did — well, let’s just say that I’m not more willing than before to believe she’s actually, possibly as sexy as she keeps trying to convince us she is.
