Steroids are running rampant in sports. Marion Jones, Roger Clemens — pretty much everyone we’ve looked up to for their athletic prowess have been proven to be cheaters. But what about the athletes that we’ve looked up to for their hotness? Not so hot there either, apparently. According to some dudes at the International Tennis Federation, the former Swiss Miss Martina Hingis has been suspended for two years after she had tested positive for cocaine at Wimbledon last year. As a result, Hingis will have to pay back the $129,481 she won and other assorted shaming. Of course, this would all have been much more stunning if, er, Hingis wasn’t already retired from tennis. Oh well.

It looks like the kids are taking over the U.S. Open. But of course, in the world of professional sports, 18 year olds are barely kids, and are more like season vets. Just ask Maria Sharapova, who got bounced by an 18-year old, and now, our favorite tennis player, Martina Hingis, who also got bounced by her own 18-year old giant-killer, Victoria Azarenka of Russia. (Yes, another Russian tennis player. I wonder if she’s hot, too…?) In any case, in a tribute to Martina, here is a pictorial of her at the 2007 U.S. Open. Better luck next year, Martina. Still love ya, babe.

I know what you’re thinking: “Wait, Martina Hingis bikini pictures?” Is that even…possible? Why yes it is! Here’s the Swiss Miss herself in a blue two-piece bikini. Now what she’s doing inside a fountain is a question I’ll leave up to you guys. In case you don’t know who Martina Hingis is, she’s a tennis player from Switzerland (Swiss Miss, get it?), who retired because of injuries a while back, but has returned to the tennis court professionally again. She’s always been one of my favorites, and yes, seeing her in a bikini is kind of odd, but at the same time, righteous.
