I gotta give whoever cast Australian model turned actress Megan Gale as Wonder Woman in the upcoming Justice League movie a whole lot of credit. Looking at these pictures of Megan Gale, you immediately think, “Dude, Amazonian!” And not in the Lucy Lawless “Warrior Princess” sort of way, either, but in the, “Dude, I’d let her squeeze me to death with her thighs for a piece of that!” sort of way. Which, you know, is different from the other way. Ahem. So this is your new cinematic Wonder Woman, folks, Megan Gale, who has the look and the body to play the role. Big props to whoever cast her!

The big news coming out of geek land is that Australian supermodel Megan Gale, whose biggest role to date has been assaying the pivotal role of the nameless “Dr. Orbit’s Secretary” in 2005’s “Stealth”, has landed the much coveted role of Wonder Woman in the upcoming Justice League of America movie to be directed by fellow Aussie George Miller. (I smell a conspiracy.) So how will Megan Gale do in the role? Um, well, we know she’ll certainly fill out that tiara and corset very nicely, if these pictures of the model turned actress turned would-be big screen superhero are any indication. Holy cow she’s got some body on her.

We posted Megan Gale a few weeks ago, and we just couldn’t resisting posting more of her, this time attending the 2007 Aria Music Awards. Australian supermodels don’t come around very often, but when they look this good, this dreamy, it’s a one-in-a-billion shot that we wouldn’t become immediately smitten with the woman. So, having said that, expect more Megan Gale in the future. But in case we forgot, well, uh, we forgot, so don’t email us. The only thing we hate more than people who email us with stupid questions are people who email us to chastise us for forgetting to do something we promised earlier. When was the last Australian supermodel that graced our sad and pathetic lives? Wasn’t it Elle McPherson? Wait, she was Australian, wasn’t she? Or was it Rachel Hunter? Well, it was either one of those or none of those. Look, I ain’t no librarian! But I digress. Our Random Supermodel of the Day is Megan Gale, who hails from Perth, Australia, but who actually launched her career in Italy before finally making good back at home Down Under. That exotic look is the result of being half British and half Polynesian, and besides looking good in almost nothing, she’s also well-versed in Australia’s local instrument, the didgeridoo. Now how many supermodels can say THAT?
