In case you missed it, tonight was the season 1 finale of NBC’s only hit of the year, “Heroes”. Will Sylar defeat everyone? Can Peter control his powers and not nuke New York City? Will Ali Larter take off her clothes and strip again? One can only hope — on all three accounts. Then again, who cares what happens to NYC, I’d just like more Ali Larter stripping, please. Let’s face it, one of the only reasons to watch “Heroes” is for the girls. Sure, the show is cool and get-all, but the girls are just deliciously babelicious. Our latest installment of Geek Love is dedicated to the babes of “Heroes”.

As if having Ali Larter and young Hayden Panettiere (did I spell that right?) on the show wasn’t already a guarantee of “Heroes” achieving “uber babe status”, now they’ve gone and done it — adding former “Black Sash” babe Missy Peregrym to the mix. Our little Missy will be playing a character named Candice Wilmer, who rumor has it, has “illusive” powers, whatever that means. (Probably something about her being able to assume other people’s identities, perhaps like Mystique of the comic books? I.e. the character played by Rebecca “Bodypaint Does a Girl Good” Romijn in the “X-Men” movies, for you non-comic book geeks out there.) Tune into “Heroes” on NBC Mondays!

Besides having an awfully hard last name to spell, Melissa Missy Peregrym is in a new movie called “Stick It”, which after a lot of hard work (not really), I found out is about gymnastics, and Missy plays one of the gymnasts. And need I say that she looks insanely hot in the commercials? But anyways, here’s Missy at the “Stick It” press conference, literally getting a ton of face time before stepping outside for some full body shots. Umm, full body Missy Peregrym shots…

Canadian model turn actress Missy Peregrym, all 5′7″ of her, hails from Montreal, Quebec, and she’s been on “Dark Angel” and the short-lived kung fu show “Black Sash”. Now you can see Melissa (or Missy) on the big screen in “Stick It”, which I’m assuming involves sticks…and sticking it. I think. Anyways, we like Melissa’s tall, lean body and tough girl look, so here she is.
