This is funny. Not that Jane Fonda, being the addled-brain idiot she is, dropped the c-word (and no, I’m not talking about “c” as in “catsup”) while live on The Today Show, but that host Meredith Viera was laughing like a total retard before, during, and after she said it. I thought that was hilarious. Later, Meredith Viera apologized on air for Fonda’s usage of the word, which I didn’t think was that bad, although it goes to show you what a total mush head Fonda is that she seemingly didn’t know you can’t say that on live TV. Is it any wonder that this dumb broad thought it was a good idea to go to North Vietnam during the Vietnam War and pose for pictures while draped over anti-artillery guns? It goes to show you that you don’t necessarily get smarter with age.

Sort of. Well, maybe. But probably not. (Then again, maybe Yes.) But news came out earlier in the week that NBC was going to pay Paris Hilton a whopping $1 million for the hotel heiress’ first post-jail sit-down interview because, you know, Paris has a lot to say, and it’s sure to revolutionize the world. Or maybe not. Yesterday NBC came out and said they weren’t going to shill out any such amounts, that it was all a rumor. But people aren’t buying it, and they’re still saying NBC’s Meredith Viera will do the interview. True? Untrue? Too stupid for words? You decide.

Meredith Viera was the smart one on “The View”. That seems obvious now with the coming (and soon to be going) of Rosie O’Donnell, who has turned that show into the Stupid Comedy Hour if there ever was one. Viera left not too long ago (O’Donnell, in fact, replaced her) to work on “The Today Show”, while doing “Who Wants to be a Millionaire” on the side. She of course replaced Katie Couric on “Today”. Here are some promotional images of Meredith for “Who Wants to be a Millionaire”, of which she has now said goodbye to to concentrate full-time on “The Today Show”. I’m really not sure why you need to concentrate on a show where you sit on a couch and ask celebrities pointless questions, but anyways.

While promoting his upcoming ice skating comedy “Blades of Glory” on the Today show, fictional anchorman Will Ferrell and real-life anchorwoman Meredith Vieira went for a spin around Rockefeller Center’s skating rink in front of a live audience (as they are wont to do on the show), where Vieira fell and hit her head while the two were doing a move from the movie, reports Reuters. Ouch. Don’t worry, Meredith Vieira fans (I’m told you people actually exists), Meredith Vieira is still alive and well, and “Today” even made fun of it by showing the fall from various angles. How cute.
