Minka Kelly Makes a Case for Failed TV, Is Really Hot

So according to some online material I might have stumbled across once or twice (heck, I might have even made a mention of it here, but, you know, I sorta have forgotten) Minka Kelly’s TV show Friday Night Lights is back on the air. As I recall, it’s on Direct TV or some such, which basically means if few people saw it when it was on NBC, even fewer people will see it now that it’s on paid satellite TV. So what does it all mean? Well, who knows, what am I, Nostradamus? But what I do know is that there is a very damn good reason for keeping Friday Night Lights on TV, and that reason is named Minka Kelly. Yes, Minka Kelly. The little cheerleader minx on the show. What, you’ve never seen it? Take a gander at this old appearance in Men’s Health and then go find the first season or Friday Night Lights. Hey, it beats Golden Girls reruns, right?

Friday Night Lights Season 3 Promos

If you’re a fan of Friday Night Lights and are wondering where the hell is the third season of your favorite TV show about football in small town Texas, rednecks with trucks, and way-too-hot Texas cheerleaders, then you’ve been looking in the wrong place. Or the wrong channel, actually. Friday Night Lights has moved over to DirectTV for its third season. Yes, exclusively. It’ll eventually show up on NBC later next year, or so I’m told, but then again, it’s not like I’m a TV nerd or sumthin’, so don’t take my word for it. Here are some promos DirectTV cut for the show’s third season. I like the Minka Kelly one myself, although the Adrianne Palicki one isn’t anything to sneeze at, either.

Minka Kelly is so Sweet my Teeth Hurt

Even if NBC’s Friday Night Lights go off the air and never come back (will it return for Season 3? your guess is as good as mine, by which I mean, I have no idea, stop asking me, what am I, your one-stop for all-knowing news?), we can at least thank it for introducing the world to the wonderfully cute Minka Kelly. There’s this nice, Emmanuelle Chrique quality about Minka that comes through in every photo she takes. The girl just looks sweeter than sugar, let’s put it that way, and if she turns out to be a beeyatch in real life, it would surprised me more than when as it turns out Rosie O’Donnell really didn’t have a crush on Tom Cruise. (Man, who saw that coming? I, like, totally believed she was horndog for Tommy.)

Minka Kelly’s Cheerleader Promos from Friday Night Lights

Sure, I watch NBC’s Friday Night Lights for more than just the cheerleader scenes with Minka Kelly, but just purely between you and me and the other three people that reads this site for some odd reason only psychiatrists can figure out, I also watch Friday Night Lights for the drama, the teen angst, the wacky Texas folks, and every now and then, to see a nice beat-up pick-up truck, because there’s nothing I like more than seeing a nice beat-up pick-up truck truckin’ its way through a scene when it should be sitting on bricks. But mostly I just watch it for the cheerleader scenes with Minka Kelly in that spiffy cheerleader uniform. Is that so wrong?

Friday Night Lights Season 2 Promos

How psyche am I that the powers that be have given “Friday Night Lights” a second season despite mediocre ratings? I am psyched out of my ass, that’s how psyche I am, kids. Basically, one more season (at least) of tall drink of water Adrianne Palicki and pom pom hottie Minka Kelly. Basically, those two are the reasons why I’m going to be tuning in every episode. Okay, so the story is kinda cool, too, and I’ve always liked football stuff. Plus, the added bonus of hottie-in-training Aimee Teegarden. How nice is that? So nice that I’m going to go out right now and kick a football into my neighbor’s window. Now that’s excitement! Season 2 promos from “Friday Night Lights” below.

Minka Kelly Wants you to Watch Friday Night Lights

Oh sure, NBC may have renewed “Friday Night Lights” for a second season, but there’s no guarantee it’ll finish up its run if the ratings for the show continues to be in the toilet. I’m really not sure why you people aren’t watching it — it’s a damn good job, dammit! And it’s got some pretty damn hot girls in it. Minka Kelly is one of them. She plays a nice-girl cheerleader who cheated on her star quarterback football player who got crippled in a game. And she cheated with his best friend, to boot! I’m telling you, you can’t find that kind of drama on “Grey’s Anatomy”! Wait, you probably can. Nevermind.

Friday Night Lights and Minka Kelly Returns

In case you missed the announcement, NBC has done the right thing and renewed their football show “Friday Night Lights” for a full 22-episode second season. This is good news to all fans of great TV shows and hot girls, as “Friday Night Lives” has one of the hottest on the tube right now — Minka Kelly. She and co-star Adrianne Palicki will be back later this year, but until then here’s Minka in a recent issue of Cosmo Girl.

The Babes of Friday Night Lights: Minka Kelly and Adrianne Policki

It was a movie, and now it’s a TV show. Hey, why not? Happens all the time. NBC’s “Friday Night Lights” is sorta based on the 2004 movie with Billy Bob Thornton, with basically the same script, only tweaked a little bit for series consumption. If you like football, and Texas football in particular — well, even then the show is kinda wacky. Anyways, who cares, this post is about the babes of “Friday Night Lights”, in particular Minka Kelly and Adrianna Policki. Minka plays a cheerleader and I think Policki is some kind of town slut. Works for me!
