(Mind you, not that I’m equating babies with, like, laundry, where you can just drop them, ahem.) Wait, where was I? Oh right. I’ve personally always found Minnie Driver to be very hot, but not a lot of people have agreed with me. Family Guy even had a great gag about how her head is so mammoth it can’t fit into a movie screen. Minnie Driver is the New Lara Croft, Tomb Raider

Minnie Driver is the new Lara Croft, Tomb Raider. Well, sort of. She’s going to provide the VOICE for the new version of Lara Croft, who this time around will be an animated character via a series of original Tomb Raider episodes that will premiere July 10th on GameTap.com. There will be 10 episodes, one every week, and will run from July 10 to August 23rd. I gotta admit, Minnie Driver may not have the body for the role, but she’s got the voice. Well, anyone can have the voice, but you know what I mean. Don’t you?

Spotlight on THE RICHES’ Minnie Driver

On the FX channel’s “The Riches”, Minnie Driver plays Delilah Malloy, a Deep South redneck who is also a drug addict ex-con and the mother in a family of grifters (that’s con artists for those of you who don’t comprende criminal jargon). Says Driver about her character: “She is completely and utterly unpredictable. She is an addict. She is ravaged. She loves her family, but she would kill them if they did anything wrong. But I feel like she could also walk away from this family at a drop of a hat. That’s the unpredictable quality within her. She is very, very dark and very, very funny. She has no filter.” Sounds like my kind of woman!

Minnie Driver Likes the Beach

Don’t ask me why Minnie Driver isn’t as famous as she currently is in Hollywood. One reason could be that she doesn’t take any role that crosses her path; the other might be because she doesn’t have that traditional “Hollywood look” — you know, skinny, blonde, and can’t act worth a damn. Minnie, in my estimation, actually can act, and from all her TV chat show appearances, seems to have a wicked sense of humor and an excellent sense of who she is. She’s currently starring in the FX Original Show “Riches”, about a family of modern day gypsies that co-opts a dead family’s identity in the suburbs. But never mind all that; here’s Minnie at the beach in a bikini and doing the surfing thing. (The chick surfs, too!)
