No idea about the context for these pics, and chances are I’ve already posted them before years ago, but whatever, these are so good they deserve to be post again. Oooooh. Look at this. Two of France’s hottest women Monica Bellucci (originally Italian, but I believe she’s converted to full-time Frenchie) and Sophie Marceau are in the same movie together, and they’re featured on the movie posters, as they should be. The flick is called “Ne te retourne pas” or “Don’t Look Back” by Marina De Van. It’s described as “a psychodrama about a photographer whose pictures tell a different story to that of her perception.” Yeah, real Frenchie, that plot synopsis. Hopefully it’ll be equally Frenchie when it comes to the nudity. Fingers crossed!

Well it’s that time of the year again, when family and friends gather to enjoy a great big feast that one member of said family and friends has taken the time to prepare, much to our delight, and their consternation. Oh, Monica Bellucci, will there ever come a time when you aren’t the hottest thing to come out of Italy since fascism and sausages? Hopefully not. And if the time ever comes when that turns out to be true, we’re going to stick our heads in the sand and hum to ourselves so we can pretend it never happen. Yeah, that’s the ticket. Failing that, we’d probably just run to the Internet and look at pictures of Monica Bellucci like these, which shows off that naturally gorgeous face. Even in black and white, there’s no doubt that Monica Bellucci is just too smoking hot for words. Or at least, a whole lot of words. Probably a little bit of words, though.

You know, I don’t think Monica Bellucci will ever be NOT hot in my book. When she’s 60, the woman will probably still be hotter than anything that has ever come out of Italy. I mean, even better than, you know, spaghetti, and let’s face it, spaghetti is pretty damn tasty, so it’s gonna take a lot to top it. But Monica Bellucci is definitely right up there, alongside spaghetti and pasta. Okay, so this post is going way overboard, and seems to have lost its way, and I blame it on Family Guy. I’m watching it right now, and Brian has just found out he has a kid, and as it turns out, the kid is a punk ass and weed head. It’s funny. And oh yeah, Monica Bellucci is very hot in this issue of OK magazine.

But hey, I guess some people are just determined to climb uphill, which is probably why they decided to make Monica Bellucci a blonde (one can only pray it’s only temporary) for this Vanity Fair spread. Mind you, not that I’m going to lose sleep if Monica Bellucci decides to stay a blonde, but you know, for the sake of the world and the health of the universe, I hope she goes back to dark hair. Without a doubt, I don’t think anyone has a more recognizable face than Monica Bellucci. I think the only woman who comes close is Angelina Jolie, but that’s only if you don’t look at Jolie’s other, ahem, attributes. (Remember those old lady hands of hers? Brrrr. Still gives me nightmares.) Monica Bellucci, on the other hand, is nearly perfect from head to toe, and that’s after giving birth to how many kids? Well I don’t know, but that face of hers will live on forever. Even when Monica Bellucci turns 60, that face will still be just as recognizable, still as incredible, as it was today, or 10 years ago. If anything, I think age has made Monica Bellucci even more beautiful. Is that possible? I believe it is.

In “Monster Man” director Michael Davis’ follow-up, the spectacularly titled “Shoot ‘Em Up”, Clive Owen plays a man named Mr. Smith, who delivers a woman’s baby during a shootout, and is then called upon to protect the newborn from the army of gunmen. Sounds like a plan! The film co-stars Italian Goddess Monica Bellucci, the actor’s actor Paul Giamatti, and some guys name Greg Bryk and Stephen McHattie. Basically it’s Clive Owen versus Paul Giamatti with Monica Bellucci providing the uber sex appeal and a sea of guns and bullets. What’s not to like?

Your Sunday Treat features Monica Bellucci in Flair Magazine. The always busy Italian/French actress has four movies coming out in 2007, but the most intriguing has to be the one called “Shoot ‘Em Up”, which co-stars Clive Owen as a gunman called upon to defend the baby he saved during a shootout. The film is being directed by Michael Davis, who did the indie horror flick “Monster Man”. Expect a crazy action movie, although what role Monica Bellucci plays, I don’t know yet, but you can check out a script review here. It’s mucho positivo.

In a recent interview, Monica Bellucci said that the director of her latest movie, the science fiction thriller “The Stone Council” wanted an “ordinary and less Mediterranean” main character, so she tried her best to “look plain”. Now, in case you’ve been living under a rock, you know that Monica Bellucci is anything but plain. This is, easily, one of the most beautiful woman in and out of cinema. So yeah, I’m a little skeptical that Monica, even at 42, can play “plain”. But hey, she is a good actress, so we’ll see.

I’m sure all the girls out there are saying the same thing: “This is just not fair!” Well I feel you, girls. Well, not really, but you know, I thought it was something I should say. Ahem. Here’s Monica Bellucci at the red carpet premiere of “N.: Napoleon & Me” in Rome. Normally I would put a title like “Monica Bellucci is Red Hot” as the thread title, but I’m afraid combining the words “Monica Bellucci” and “red hot” might just end the universe as we know it, so “Monica Bellucci is Astounding” will have to do. What, none of these make sense? Oh whatever. Just gawk at the pictures, smart guy.

There is something incredibly sexy about Monica Bellucci. Maybe it’s her ability to show her bountiful breasts at every opportunity, although I’m sure that doesn’t hurt any. The first time I saw her was in the Italia movie “Malena”, and she’s since moved on to more European fair. Of course it helps that she speaks French and is married to some frog, but we won’t hold that against her. Oh, Monica, why did you have to go the frog route? Anyways, you’re still number one in our book.
