Despite a couple of critically acclaimed movies already under her belt (”A Good Year” and “Candy”), Australian actress (hmm, what’s up with all the Aussies on the Random Page today?) Abbie Cornish’s biggest claim to fame is as the maybe-maybe not woman who split up Hollywood’s golden couple Reese Witherspoon and hubby Ryan Phillippe, who she may or may not have an affair with while they were filming their Iraq War drama “Stop Loss”. Abbie hails from Lochinvar, New South Wales, Australia, and learned to drive at the age of 12. Now that’s impressive. When I was 12, I barely knew how to use the remote control.

Reese Witherspoon Finally Ditches Ryan Phillippe

The big celeb news around the celeb news watercooler is that mega movie star Reese Witherspoon is separating from her actor husband Ryan Phillippe. And yes, there is a difference between being a movie star and an actor — whereas Reese gets big bucket loads of money and can open movies (as they like to say Out There), Ryan gets a paycheck and can open a can of tuna — sometimes. So after 7 years of marriage (at least three lifetimes by Hollywood standards) and two kids, the couple are a-splittin’. I tell you, this always happens — when the woman of the couple gets bigger than the man (and hasn’t Reese been bigger than Ryan for what, 5 years now?), the man can never take it, and divorce is inevitable. See Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey for an example, or Jennifer Garner and Scott Foley, or Jennifer Lopez and that back-up dancer she married, etc etc. ‘Tis life in vain Hollywood.

Reese Witherspoon and Christina Ricci Are Threesome Material

I will admit that I never thought about Reese Witherspoon as potential threesome material, but seeing her here, at the premiere of “Penelope” with the movie’s star Christina Ricci (she plays the titular character), I gotta reconsider. Christina Ricci, now, yeah, I can imagine her roping innocent girls like our Reese into her twisted games. After all, Ricci has tattoos out of the wazoo, and as we all know, girls with a lot of tattoos are obligated to be loose with the goose, if you know what I mean. And oh yeah, seeing them together is really hot for some reason…
