Must-See TV: NBC’s Life

15 October 2007

“A former police officer returns to the force after having been wrongly imprisoned for years.” Trust me, the actual show is a hell of a lot better than that brief, one-line synopsis of NBC’s show Life. I don’t know how Life is doing in the ratings, but I’m telling you this — you MUST watch this show. It’s probably the best new thing on TV right now. It stars Damian Lewis and Sarah Shahi as mismatched partners solving crimes in L.A. Lewis plays Charlie Crews, the cop who was wrongly convicted, and is now out and about, determined to solve his own frame-up. Only he tells people he doesn’t care to solve it, but in fact he’s obsessed with it. Basically, it’s a damn good show, and you need to start watching it on Wednesdays at 10/9c on NBC.

Get a Life with Sarah Shahi

5 October 2007

If you haven’t been watching NBC’s new crime show Life, you’re missing out on one of the best new shows of 2007. It’s a great show, starring Damian Lewis as a cop who is framed for murder, but is released when evidence proves otherwise. Now he’s a cop with a new perspective on crime, which helps him solve them. The show co-stars the gorgeous Sarah Shahi, coming off The L Word, as Lewis’ partner. Shahi’s character is a fantastic one, too, and definitely nothing you’ve seen before. The characters are complex and that’s what makes Life as good as it is. And did I mention that Sarah Shahi is damn hot?

New TV Show Preview: Life

12 September 2007

I don’t think NBC is promoting their new cop show, “Life” nearly enough. It’s got two of my favorite things in a TV show — Damian Lewis, star of the magnificent HBO mini-series “Band of Brothers”, and the premise is killer: a cop, wrongly imprisoned, is finally released, sues the LAPD, and gets his job back plus a ton of cash. The cash allows him to do basically anything he wants, like harass his ex-wife’s new boyfriend, and try to solve the mystery behind his own framing. And did I mention it stars Damian Lewis, who is a fantastic actor and one of those guys I’d watch read the grocery list. He’s fantastic. So watch “Life” when it comes on and keep this show on the air! Some promos below.

Sarah Shahi is Figurific

18 July 2007

Is it wrong of me to think that actress Sarah Shahi gets bonus brownie sexy points for playing a lesbian in the lesbian-rific TV show “The L Word”? Now just by herself you gotta admit that Sarah Shahi is one attractive babe, but add to that her filmography, which involved her getting to kiss women seductively on a daily basis, and BAM! That’s what I call instant Wet Fantasy Dream Girl. Then again, maybe I’m just being overly shallow. Here’s Sarah Shahi looking voluptuous and cleavage-rific doing the press rounds at the NBC PR tours, where actors for the various networks goes out to shake hands with the press and answer stupid questions.

The Lesbians of “The L Word”

11 August 2006

I can’t say as if I’ve ever seen Showtime’s “The L Word” series, about hot lesbians in the city getting it on. Or somesuch. As I’ve never seen the show (I’m very poor, I can’t afford Showtime or HBO, give me a break), I don’t really know what it’s about except the whole lesbian part. Lesbians, man, you gotta love them. Here are the hot stars of the show doing a photoshoot for the latest season: Mia Kirshner, Sarah Shahi, and Erin Daniels.

Persian Goddess Sarah Shahi returns, this time in two spreads for Maxim Magazine, one from 2002, the other from 2005. She looks great in both, but that’s a given, don’t you think?

TV Lesbian Sarah Shahi in Lime-Green

5 April 2006

So who exactly is Sarah Shahi and how does she manage to make an ugly color like lime-green look so gosh darn beautiful? Well Sarah is an actress who is currently doing the lesbian TV show “The L Word”, which is yet another reason why we love TV, and would lavish goods and other symbols of our love on it if it was, you know, a living, breathing thing, which we don’t doubt that it could possibly be. Yes, that’s how much we love TV. And Sarah Shahi, of course.
