What, Still No Sarah Wynter Back in 24?
You know, FOX is really pissing me off. Just last week, it was revealed that Jack Bauer’s ne’er-do-well daughter Kim (as played by Elisha Cuthbert) would be coming back for a couple of episodes in the upcoming Season 7 of 24, and yet — still no signs of Sarah Wynter? What, Kate Warner wasn’t a good enough character for you guys to bring her back? Well screw you, writers of 24, because we appreciate the gorgeous Sarah Wynter, who, if you’ve listened to the 24 DVD audio commentaries, is all kinds of delightful. Then again, considering that all of Jack Bauer’s girlfriends end up either dead, kidnapped, abducted, tortured, or fucked up in a variety of ways, maybe it’s better Sarah Wynter stays as far away from 24 as possible. But just for laughs, here are some reason why we’d like to see Kate back anyhow.

Jack Bauer and the Los Angeles branch of the Counter Terrorist Unit may be constantly bombarded with world-saving problems and ticking clocks counting down to imminent destruction, but that sure hasn’t stopped some of the hottest women from signing up during the show’s six years on the air. With Day 7 (aka season 7) due to start the countdown all over again in 2009, it’s time we look back at the past 6 years, and highlight the hottest babes that ever picked up a gun or slipped on the power suit and worked the 24 clock. (Note that we are dealing with the characters here, not the actresses themselves, although that does come into play, but the character elements get a higher percentage towards the vote.)
Windfall’s Alice Greczyn
In case you missed it, the NBC show “Windfall” (about 20 friends who wins the lotto, and then encounters problems associated with their newfound wealth — hey, give me those problems!), barely lasted long enough to make an impression in the line-up before getting canned. It had a pretty good cast, with ex-”24″ cast-off Sarah Wynter, former “Beverly Hills 90210″ bad boy Luke Perry, and of course, the oh so lovely Alice Greczyn. But don’t cry for Alice — she can be seen in two movies in 2007, “An American in China” and “House of Fears”.
Where’s Sarah Wynter When Jack Needs Her?
I’m befuddled (no, make that bewildered) why the producers of “24″ hasn’t brought Sarah Wynter’s character Kate Warner back on the show yet. After all, what was the point in having Kate survive Season 2 if they were only going to give her a 5-second cameo in Season 3? Then you don’t hear or see anything of Kate ever again since then. Which is a damn crying shame, as “24″ has gone off the deep end lately, with the producers basically killing off Kim Raver’s Audrey Raines character without even a proper murder (Jack hears about her murder!) Anyways, producers of “24″, do all of us a favor and bring Sarah Wynter back on the show. With Jack in the dumps again, wouldn’t it make sense that Kate could show up to save him? I’d buy it.

Jack is back, and he’s going to kick your ass. Or, at least, he’s going to kick your ass if you’re a no-good scumbaggy terrorists bent on destroying America and somesuch. If you aren’t, then well, you’re probably okay. Maybe. And oh yeah, check out who is the new President of the United States in Day 6 — yup, that’s a Palmer in the Oval Office, but it ain’t the Palmer we’re used to. Looks like little bro needs to get his act together if this Season 6 trailer is any indication.
