I believe Sophie Monk was supposed to be the next big thing from the UK in Hollywood. Okay, so maybe no one thought that was really going to happen, but you gotta figure that with this body and that face and that rack, she had a pretty decent chance. I don’t think it really worked out for her, but that’s not going to stop us from ogling these gorgeous bikini pictures of Sophie Monk doing the beach bikini thing. God bless beaches and bikinis. Now I’m not a hot chick, so I don’t know what hot chicks do when they head off to the beach in a skimpy two-piece bikini, but I’m guessing that from these pictures, Australian babe turned L.A. transplant Sophie Monk is probably wearing eyeliner. Or some sort of mascara. I don’t even know if those are the same thing, being a guy and all, and so totally hetero and what have you. Heck, her eyes may just be naturally dark that way. Anyways, not that I mind, or care to find out, or even investigate further. We’re talking about the gorgeous Sophie Monk in bikini wear strutting her stuff on the beaches of California. It looks like Australia’s most eligible bachelorette has finally found a movie worthy of her hotness. She’ll be starring in the new movie “Hardbreakers”, where she’ll play a 25-year old Los Angeles single woman swimming through the murky, guy-infested world of singles dating. This is coming off a glorious co-starring turn by Monk in “Sex and Death 101″, in which she was completely naked for. Yes, that’s exactly the kind of daring roles that will rocket Sophie Monk right into Hollywood stardom. Or at the very least, into my basement. It’s padded and everything; I even put up faux wallpaper to make the girls feel better.

In an interview with Australia’s Men’s Style magazine, Aussie hottie Sophie Monk says this about PETA, and how to save animals: “I think there need[s] to be, like, animal condoms or something.” Yeah, like, animal condoms would totally rule! With it on, you could have sex with animals. Wait, was that what she meant? Or was she talking about condoms made from animals? Or condoms in the shape of animals? Oh man, I’m totally confused now. Besides making welcome appearances in lad’s mags for the boys out there, Sophie Monk can also be seen in “Sex and Death 101″ in 2007, and “Spring Breakdown” and “Pearblossom” in 2008. But hey, if you can’t wait for Sophie to come visit your house, you can probably catch her on tour with Good Charlotte. I hear she’s engaged to their guitarist. Luky bastard.

Now I wasn’t planning on running out and grabbing the latest batch of Biofit Bra by Pleasure State; that is, until they made Sophie Monk their spokeswoman, and had her running around Australia selling the bra to women. Heck, to even further the partnership, Monk, who is also an actress, even made a music video version of Salt-n-Pepa’s “Push It”. Get it? Because it’s a push-up bra, so she sings a song called “Push It”, and they’re playing it in bra aisles all across Australia? Anyways, I gotta go out and get me some Biofit Bras, but purely for research purposes, of course.

On Wikipedia, Sophie Monk is described as an “an Australian pop singer, actress and occasional model.” Which is kind of an odd description. An “occasional” model? Is that like being an occasional hunter? Or an occasional archer? But I digress. What’s better than a gorgeous woman than a gorgeous woman in a bikini spread for a magazine? Um, well, the answer is, “Nothing”, in case you were wondering. Also according to Wikipedia, Sophie is currently engaged to Benji Madden from the band Good Charlotte.

And now you can add their version of the Nickelodeon Australian Kids’ Choice Award. Now I don’t exactly know what Aussie kids like, but I’m sure seeing Sophie Monk has to be right at the top of the list. At least, when it comes to the boys. The girls probably prefer Crocodile Dundee or sumthin’. Did I mention I know absolutely nothing about Australia?

So I’ve finally discovered who Sophie Monk is. She’s an Australian singer/actress, one of those pop singers, who, well, sings pop music. You know, mainstream, safe stuff. I think. I haven’t actually heard her sing, or heard any of her songs, so I’m just guessing out of my ass here, folks. I also haven’t seen ay of her movies (she’s in “Date Movie”), but boy is she gorgeous in a bikini or what? Plane ticket to Australia, please! Or, er, Hollywood, now that she’s moved here to pursue a movie career.
