Thandie Newton is as bit of a dilemma for me. On the one hand, you can’t deny that the woman has a pretty face, but man, she sometimes looks so damn skinny you want to shove a hamburger into her hands. You get pretty much both looks at Thandie Newton in these promos for Guy Ritchie’s “RocknRolla”, which will probably be about a bunch of kooky British gangsters robbing from each other and crap like that. You know, the usual Guy Ritchie crap. Anyways, Thandie Newton looks both way too skinny and incredibly good in these promos. I’m sure you can figure out which is which. Take a gander, why don’t you?

America to Al Gore: What, Me, Worry? Live Earth Tanks.

Apparently Americans have heard everything Al Gore has to say about global warming, and their response is a big fat: “Who gives a crap?” That is, if you can go by the ratings for Al Gore’s three-hour concert special from Giants Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J., which pulled in paltry numbers for NBC during its Sunday night run, according to the Hollywood Reporter. In fact, NBC would have gotten equal or better ratings had they just ran a rerun of, well, basically anything in the time slot. Which comes as a big surprise to just about anyone, considering the concert’s line-up of heavy hitters, including Kelly Clarkson, Kaney West, Alicia Keys, Bon Jovi, Sheryl Crow, and The Smashing Pumpkins, just to name a few.

Thandie Newton is Chewy Goodness

You may remember Thandie Newton from “Mission Impossible 2″, or maybe “The Chronicles of Riddick”, where she played a vamped out sci-fi version of Lady MacBeth. She was grossly underused in the awful “Mission Impossible 2″, but then again, that’s a John Woo movie, and Woo has no idea how to handle female characters in his movies besides tossing them a gun and telling them to shoot a guy in the balls. Anyways, in all her movies Thandie is always the sexy black woman with the sexy British accent. Yep, that’s her. Here are some pictures.
