Pearl the Landlord is back, except this time she’s, uh, Pearl the Cop. The Lieutenant, to be exact, or as her men call her, the “Confession Machine”. She’s so tough that she doesn’t mind walking into an interrogation room in a pink dress. Now that’s confidence! “Good Cop, Baby Cop” is another Will Ferrell and Adam McKay video. The last time they did this (”Pearl the Landlord”), people were kinda ticked that McKay had his daughter curse like a sailor. Not a lot of cursing from Pearl this time, just Ferrell dropping the F-bombs. Not quite as funny as the Landlord skit, but still a riot for sure.

Dammit, those Apple douche bags have gotten to Will Ferrell. Crap. Now I wouldn’t mind losing lesser SNL’ers like, say, Adam Sandler, Rob Schneider, or hell, even Mike Myers. But Will friggin Ferrell? Man, that’s just wrong. Damn you, Apple! Damn you and your propaganda machine! Anyways, here’s Will Ferrell shilling for Apple. And it’s not even funny, that’s the worst part of it. Usually Will Ferrell comedy is gold, but when Will has to resort to talking about “pooping” to get a laugh… I just hope this isn’t the beginning of the end for Will. Once you buy the Apple lie that it’s actually more useful than your average Windows PC, you’re one step away from joining Scientology.

Dude, when did Ask a Ninja get so big that they have wrangled their way into press junkets interviewing Will Ferrell and Jon Heder? Who is doing the press stuff for the movie studios nowadays? Anyways, this is pretty funny, mostly because I keep imagining the ninja guy having to go to these junkets filled with suck-up reporters dressed in his ninja costume. I mean, come on, that’s funnier than the interview itself.

This 2-minute skit of Will Ferrell arguing with his landlord, Pearl (a 2-year old blonde girl who happens to be an alcoholic, no less) reminds me of my college days. I was living off campus, and whenever the end of the semester came around, the rent money started to become tight, I had to start looking for stuff to sell on eBay. Needless to say, once the rent was paid and the financial aid money came in for the next semester, I went out and bought the same crap I had sold on eBay months earlier, except for full price. And, of course, I only ended up selling them again when the rent came due toward the end of the next semester. All this is to say that Will Ferrell is one funny dude, and to see him goofing around with a 2-year old kid in this skit just reminds you how cool this cat is.

As I am wont to do, I was checking my referral logs for the month, and saw that there was quite a bit of searching for “Jenna Fischer in a corset”. After some investigation, I realized you guys were looking for that scene from the Will Ferrell comedy “Blades of Glory” where Jenna Fischer’s character seduces Ferrell’s figure skater by dressing in a tight black corset and fishnet stockings. And yes, the scene is quite frakkin’ fantastic, and I don’t blame you guys for stumbling around the net looking for it. Well it wasn’t really that hard to find pictures from that scene, so here you guys go.

Pseudo gay comedy wannabe “Blades of Glory” cleaned up at the box office, taking $33 million over the weekend in its debut. The film stars Will Ferrell and Jon Heder as figure skaters who teams up to take advantage of a skating loophole. Much wackiness is had by all. Or somesuch. The Disney CGI kid’s flick “Meet the Robinsons” came in second with $25.1 million, while the Spartans defeat the Teenage Mutant Turtles after losing to them last week by taking the #3 spot with $11.2 million. Mark Wahlberg’s “Shooter” continues to tank, barely managing a measly $8 million in its second week.

While promoting his upcoming ice skating comedy “Blades of Glory” on the Today show, fictional anchorman Will Ferrell and real-life anchorwoman Meredith Vieira went for a spin around Rockefeller Center’s skating rink in front of a live audience (as they are wont to do on the show), where Vieira fell and hit her head while the two were doing a move from the movie, reports Reuters. Ouch. Don’t worry, Meredith Vieira fans (I’m told you people actually exists), Meredith Vieira is still alive and well, and “Today” even made fun of it by showing the fall from various angles. How cute.

I like Jenna Fischer. She reminds me of Maura Tierney before Maura blew up by going from “Newsradio” to “ER”. Jenna hasn’t really blown up yet, being part of an ensemble on “The Office” and all. But she’s quite the pretty little thing, and she’s joining Will Ferrell and that guy from “Napoleon Dynamite” for their ice skating movie “Blades of Glory”. What’s it about? Via IMDB.com: “In 2002, two rival Olympic ice skaters were stripped of their gold medals and permanently banned from men’s single competition. Presently, however, they’ve found a loophole that will allow them to qualify as a pairs team.” Yeah, sounds real good. Well, probably not, but Jenna should look ultra cute in it, judging by these stills.
