Jim Carrey does serious again — or at least takes another stab at broadening his horizons with “The Number 23″, a suspense thriller that has Carrey playing a man who “becomes obsessed with a book that appears to be based on his life but ends with a murder that has yet to happen in real life”. It’s suppose to be really trippy and edgy. “The Number 23″ finds theaters on February 23, 2007, and is directed by Joel Schumacher. It stars Jim Carrey, Virginia Madsen, Danny Huston, Logan Lerman and Rhona Mitra.
