Via IGN, who reports that Summer Glau has landed a role on and is already shooting the pilot for FOX TV’s upcoming sci-fi series “The Sarah Conner Chronicles”, the TV version of James Cameron’s popular “Terminator” franchise. The show, of course, will take place after the events of “Termiantor 2″ and before “Terminator 3″, and follows a teen John Conner and his mother Sarah (played by “300’s” Lena Headey). IGN speculates that Glau, because of her martial arts moves from “Firefly”, might be tapped as a new killer Terminator robot, but that’s just a guess on their part. Geeks should enjoy the thought of River Tam either battling (or battling as a) Terminator.
