Who doesn’t want to see this? Especially fans of Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell’s “Evil Dead” films? Even though “Freddy vs. Jason” kind of sucked (with some spurts of goodness thrown in), the prospect of Freddy Krueger teaming up with Jason Vorhees to take on everyone’s favorite chainsaw wielding, demon-killing S-Mart employee is enough to get fanboys all wet. According to this article, it’s a definite possibility. Well, sort of.
The best news comes from “Freddy vs. Jason”, Ronny Yu, who is going around promoting his Jet Li movie “Fearless”. Says Yu:
“Yeah, they’ve been talking about it, and they even talk about bringing Ash [from Sam Raimi's "Evil Dead" movies] into the equation, and I thought it’s terrific. It’s almost like an updated version of “The Good, The Bad and the Ugly.” If they really want to do it and they want me to do it, I’d love to do it. It would be a lot of fun.”
So there you go! But what I really wanna know is, will Monica Keena, the star of “Freddy vs. Jason” be back? She’s certainly a handful… Yum.
