Because you demanded it, but mostly because the first one grossed $758 million worldwide despite being lambasted by everyone and their momma, The Hollywood Reporter reports that Ron Howard and Tom Hanks are set to reprise their respective job titles of director and star for “Angels and Demons”, novelist Dan Brown’s prequel to “The Da Vinci Code”. In “Angels”, Harvard professor Robert Langdon (Hanks) becomes embroiled in murders involving the Illuminati and those racals at the Vatican. Akiva Goldsman, who wrote the first, is also penning the script from Brown’s novel.
