“Heroes”: The Best New Show on TV
Heads up, TV and comic book geeks. If you’ve been living in a cave and haven’t been seeing the previews, don’t forget to mark Mondays on NBC at 8:00 p.m. (central time) as a night to stay home (like you weren’t already, right?) That’s when “Heroes” will be airing. A TV show about a bunch of superpowered “ordinary” people, it’s got some major possibilities. I’ve seen the pilot, and although it wasn’t completed (it sort of just…stops), this is one show to look forward to. If you love gritty comic book superheroes, you’ll love this show.
More “Heroes” trivia:
It was created/produced by the guy who did “Crossing Jordan”, and stars Ali Larter (as a webcam stripper!) and Hayden Panettiere (as an indestructible cheerleader!) among others. Plus there’s a Japanese dude name “Hiro” who can teleport and is a total “Star Trek” geek. Oh hell yeah! Check out the fansite HeroesTheSeries.com to stay up to date and chat with other “Heroes” geeks at the Heroes Forum. Mondays are looking up!
