Hollywood Top 5: 24’s Hottest Babes
Jack Bauer and the Los Angeles branch of the Counter Terrorist Unit may be constantly bombarded with world-saving problems and ticking clocks counting down to imminent destruction, but that sure hasn’t stopped some of the hottest women from signing up during the show’s six years on the air. With Day 7 (aka season 7) due to start the countdown all over again in 2009, it’s time we look back at the past 6 years, and highlight the hottest babes that ever picked up a gun or slipped on the power suit and worked the 24 clock. Here, then, are our Top 5 Hottest characters from the TV show 24. (Note that we are dealing with the characters here, not the actresses themselves, although that does come into play, but the character elements get a higher percentage towards the vote.)
#5. Kim Bauer (played by Elisha Cuthbert)
Let’s start with the most obvious character from 24 with sex appeal, shall we? That would be Elisha Cuthbert, who played the ever-endangered Kim Bauer. In her three years on 24, including a couple of cameo appearances in later seasons, Kim Bauer has found herself in every conceivable problem spot, including caught in a convenience store robbery, pursued by wife beaters, dodging nuclear blasts, forced to escape from burning wreckages, and of course, the ever popular, stuck in a basement with one of the Dillon boys. But through all that, we still have to admit that Elisha Cuthbert kept her cool, and looked usually pretty hot doing it. But it sure sucked to be her boyfriend, though.
Pro: Kim Bauer kept getting hotter as she got into more danger.
Con: Dating Kim Bauer is probably worst for your mortality rate than dating her dad.

#4. Audrey Raines (played by Kim Raver)
Audrey Raines, played by Kim Raver, has the distinction of being the only other Jack Bauer love interest who didn’t end up dead, although considering the end of Season 6, which had Audrey lying in bed, comatose, maybe the sweet release of death would have been preferable. The daughter of the Secretary of State, Audrey made the mistake of getting way too interested in Jack Bauer’s life, and as we all know, that ain’t good. But while she lasted, this Washington D.C. insider and the daughter of a politician managed to inject some much-needed classy sex appeal to the show. And hey, at least she always had her man’s back, even after the Chinese captured and tortured him for a good year or two.
Pro: She stood by her man to the bitter end; until, that is, she had no idea who he was anymore.
Con: Classy dames are good to take home to meet mom, but how’s the bed? A little chilly, perhaps?

#3. Kate Warner (played by Sarah Wynter)
The other Jack Bauer love interest (introduced in Season 2) who didn’t die at the end of the season besides Audrey Raines. Instead, the producers gave Sarah Wynter’s Kate Warner a brief second to call Jack, who turned down her offer of getting together, and that was it. But Sarah Wynter made a major impression while she lasted, thanks to her family’s association with terrorists, which got pretty much every member of her family tortured (including herself), and killed (except for her, of course). For managing, against all odds, to survive her stint as Jack Bauer’s love interest, and for looking hot doing it, Sarah Wynter’s Kate Warner ends up at our #3.
Pro: Witnessed a terrorist torturing a man, but was still open to torturing her sister for information later.
Con: Got in trouble for being nosy; nosy women are annoying, even hot ones.

#2. Michelle Dessler (played by Reiko Aylesworth)
For a minute there, you expected Michelle Dessler (Reiko Aylesworth) to jump Jack Bauer’s bones on the CTU floor at any second, becuase she kept giving him that look. You know what look I’m talking about. Later, we discovered that while Michelle Dessler was more interested in jumping Tony Almeida’s bones than Jack’s, the actress playing her had the opposite reaction. Yup, while shooting the show, Aylesworth ended up with Kiefer Sutherland, probably ensuring that Michelle Dessler stayed alive longer than most women on the show. Not that we mind, because let’s face it, Michelle Dessler, besides being a ball-breaker when the need called for it, was uber hot in that power suit and dangling curls. And when she needed to go outside CTU, Dessler slipped on a leather jacket and practically drove the men mad with lust.
Pro: She was willing to sacrifice an entire hotel full of infected people to save others. Now that’s hard core!
Con: Around Season 4 she got rid of the curls, and men everywhere cried.

#1. Sarah Clarke (Nina Myers)
Was there any doubt? The hottest of the 24 girls is also the baddest of them all. In fact, she’s the only bad girl from 24 on the entire list, and that’s because Nina Myers was nice when she was nice, but even better when she was bad. Played by Sarah Clarke, this former CTU agent turned international gun-for-hire had the pleasure of offing Jack Bauer’s wife, and then later, seducing him in a barn. No, I shit you not. That’s how hardcore our girl Nina Myers was. The show’s biggest mistake was killing off Nina Myers in the second season, but for a moment there, you thought Nina might just get away with it. Stupid producers. Why would you kill off the greatest character on 24 other than Jack Bauer? After she died, 24 was just never the same again…
Pro: Sexy, seductive, and murderous; and did I mention she shot Jack’s wife, then tried to hump him in a barn?
Con: She’s liable to shoot you and screw you at the same time, which would suck, as the other way around would have been more preferable.

Honorable Mentions: Leslie Hope, Connie Britton, Leighton Meester, and Mia Kirshner.
The part about Reiko and Kiefer is completely untrue. It is a rumor that emerged from some Kiefer fan sites and spread like a virus across the Internet. It really is too bad sites continue to push it, even after it has long been discredited.
