Hollywood Top 5: Hottest Star Trek Babes

Trying to name the Top 5 hottest Star Trek babe is like asking a random stranger if he’s got an asshole — chances are he’ll say yeah, he has one, what of it, and then punch you in the face. Ask any 10 Trekkie, and they’ll give you 10 different answers. The Trek universe is varied and expansive, and you can’t just pick any 5 babe from the franchise’s various incarnations. But hey, that’s exactly what we’re going to do here anyway. Borgs, aliens, and plain ol humans are represented. Here, then, is the Hollywood Top 5: Hottest Star Trek Babes.

#5. Jolene Blalock (T’Pol in Enterprise)

Vulcans aren’t supposed to be sexy, especially with that uber ridiculous haircut of theirs. So to get around that notion, the makers of Enterprise had Jolene Blalock’s Vulcan T’Pol character wear the slinkiest of outfits, and took every opportunity to have her disrobe. The mere presence of Jolene Blalock’s unshy Vulcan pretty much made Enterprise the most flesh-friendly Trek of them all. So why is T’Pol so far down the list? Mostly because Blalock has what you would call, oh, freakish physical attributes. Sexy, but man, you don’t wanna meet her in a dark alley when you’re not expecting it, that’s all I’m saying.

#4. Jeri Ryan (7 of 9 in Voyager)

Jeri Ryan’s freed Borg, 7 of 9, was the precursor to the T’Pol character. Before 7 of 9, the sexiest Trek ever got was Worf on The Next Generation cleaning his batliff with baby oil. The skimpy outfit they made 7 of 9 wear was the “Wow” factor that the show was looking for, and it probably helped Voyager to last a few extra years that it might not have had otherwise. Because let’s face it, Voyager was kind of stale from the very beginning, and as it churned out the episodes, you never thought it was anything special. 7 of 9 changed that — at least, for a few years.

#3. Nicole de Boer (Ezri Dax in Deep Space Nine)

Okay, give me a moment to defend myself here. Why put Ryan and Blalock, Trek’s sexiest sex symbols, at the bottom of the list, but put the more “homely” looking Trek characters at the top? It’s purely a matter of personal choice. I always found Nicole de Boer’s Ezri Dax to be a lot hotter than the skintastic T’Pol or the curvaceous 7 of 9. Maybe it’s the girl-next-door good looks, but to me, Nicole de Boer tops raw sex appeal any day. Then again, maybe it’s just those spots. Seriously, who knew spots could be so sexy?

#2. Jennifer Lien (Kes in Voyager)

There is one reason why Kes (Jennifer Lien) is at #2: that voice. Seriously, if you’ve never heard Jennifer Lien’s husky, sexy voice, you won’t know what I’m talking about. Is it wrong that the only reason I ever tuned into Voyager pre-7 of 9 was to hear Jennifer Lien’s so unGodly hot voice? Okay, that seems a little weird, but it’s sci-fi we’re talking about. Plus, Kes later developed uber psychic powers and learned how to time travel. How cool is that? The only problem was that the writers never gave Kes all that much to do; they were too busy with their Klington Engineer, who was as boring as dirt.

#1. Terry Farrell (Jadzia Dax in Deep Space Nine)

And finally, at the top of the Trek babe heap, is Terrell Farrell. A model turned actress, and it showed. Although Farrell’s Jadzia Dax kept her Starfleet uniform on most of the time, you still couldn’t help but notice that tall, towering body and perfectly shaped face. And yes, the spots also did it. Is it a coincidence that Farrell’s character eventually died, only to be replaced by Nicole de Boer, the #3 and #1 on our list? Maybe, maybe not. This is Trek, after all, and death is but a minor inconvenience.
