Talk about a major geek alert. I’m pretty sure upon hearing this news, geeks everywhere is wetting their pants. Variety reports that Warner Brothers is considering bringing the Justice League of America to the big screen. (Well, knowing the PC nature of Hollywood, it’ll eventually be called “Justice League” minus the whole America part, because, frankly, Hollywood is a pandering sack of crap.) In any case, if Warner Brothers gets its way, you might see Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Aquaman, and many more DC super powerhouses coming to a big screen near you. Is this going to happen? Probably not. Can you imagine the money it would take to render all those groovy superpowers? Much less get the rights to all those characters in one movie?
Rather this happens or not, Warner Brothers is at least moving forward with it somewhat, having paid a couple of writers to pen the script. Movie continuity will certainly be a problem (how many times have they relaunch Superman and Batman gain?), and then of course there’s the upcoming Flash and Wonder Woman movies. But you know, if this DID happen? Yeah, I’m wetting my pants just thinking about it…

Is superpower justice coming to a big screen near you?
