With all the Hollywood PR people working overtime to get their clients “attached” to Joss Whedon’s upcoming big screen Wonder Woman movie, here’s a name I want to throw into the hat: Jaime Murray, of the BBC’s “Hustle”. And hey, it’s not like I’m making this up out of thin air. According to Wikipedia: “In…Hustle, Jaime Murray wore a Wonder Woman costume in one episode. Robert Vaughn (her co-star on Hustle) liked it so much he showed it to studio executives in Hollywood; on the strength of this Murray was invited to audition for the part of Wonder Woman… Jaime’s official website on the BBC states that she has been invited to audition.” See?
Although I gotta say, I’m not feeling (as the kids would say) the wardrobe. (Artsy fartsy photoshoot run amok, anyone?) But Jaime Murray as Wonder Woman? Hell yeah, I’d buy that for a dollar. Or pound, as the Brits would say.
