When will celebrities learn? If you are involved, never do a movie with each other. It never ends well. But I guess no one bothered to tell Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony, because they’re starring in “El Cantante”, an autobiography about Hector Lavoe (Anthony), who was apparently (I say “apparently” because I’ve never heard of him, and I thought “salsa” was a chip sauce) one of the biggest Spanish-language singers in the 1970s, but personal tragedy and a heroin addiction ruined his life and left him penniless.
