Jessica Alba Threatens to Sue Playboy Over Cover

Fight fight fight! Looks like hot to trot actress Jessica Alba is steamed that Playboy put a picture of her from “Into the Blue” (where she appears in a bikini throughout) on the cover of their March issue. She’s so mad and she isn’t going to take it anymore, thus — a lawsuit! Or, actually, a threatened lawsuit. Read on!

Actress Jessica Alba, who appears in a bikini on the cover of Playboy’s March issue, is threatening to sue the magazine, claiming that Hugh Hefner & Co. are trying to make it seem that she appears in a “nude or semi-nude pictorial.” In a February 23 legal threat letter, a copy of which you’ll find below, Alba’s lawyer demands that Playboy cease distributing the magazine and provide the 25-year-old actress with a “monetary settlement” for its unauthorized use of her image for commercial purposes.

Hey, you know what? I don’t blame her. Playboy knew what they were doing — tricking people to buy that magazine in hopes of seeing Jessica nekkid or half-nekkid in their magazine. (Mind you, if you wanted to see Jessica half-nekkid, you could just pick up any magazine she’s in. But I digress.)

Here’s the reason why men everywhere will be tricked into buying this Playboy issue — we all want to see what’s under all these “clothes” stuff that keeps getting in the way:
