Karima Adebibe is the New Lara Croft!
Now that Angelina Jolie is preggers and off in India or Europe or wherever the hell she is with Brad Pitt adopting orphans, the producers of “Lara Croft: Tomb Raider” are looking for a replacement. And apparently they’ve found their busty adventurer: 20-year old Karima Adebibe, a sales assistant and model from Bethnal Green, east London!
Says SkyNews:
Adebibe’s new job will involve travelling round the world for the next two years, posing as the fictional tomb raider.
She will take crash courses in SAS survival, firing guns and archaeology, as well as elocution and etiquette lessons, to portray the 11th generation countess.
Adebibe said: “It’s a huge challenge to follow in the footsteps of people like Nell McAndrew and Angelina Jolie.
“But life is all about challenges and this is perhaps the biggest one for a model and actress.”
Her appointment precedes the launch of the seventh Lara Croft game.
So, not really any concrete news that she’ll replace Jolie as the movie character, just the game rep. Anyways, here are shots of her in the Lara Croft get-up. She certainly has the curves and bust for the role, but can she act?
