British lass Kate Beckinsale is currently in negotiations to star in the Alaska thriller “Whiteout”, based on a graphic novel (i.e. comic book). Written by Erich and Jon Hoeber and drawn by Gerg Rucka, “Whiteout” would star Beckinsale as a U.S. Marshal named Carrie Stetko, who uncovers the first murder ever recorded in the Antarctic. If that’s not bad enough news, the sun is about to set for six months, forcing Carrie to catch the killer before he leaves the ice or else be stuck there with him in the dark for six months. And really, you don’t want to get stuck in the middle of the Antarctic with a killer. The conversation would be soooo dead. (Get it? Dead? Oh, I kill me.) The film is set to be directed by Dominic Sena (”Swordfish”).
In any case, this is just a good excuse to post new pictures of Kate Beckinsale, so…
