Remember when you saw Kate Beckinsale in the commercials for “Pearl Harbor”, and you thought, “Gee, that looks like a really crappy movie, but I’ll be damn if Kate Beckinsale doesn’t look all hot and junk in it”, and then you saw the movie, and you were indeed correct, the movie was really crappy, and Kate Beckinsale was really all hot and junk in it. Such is life for British’s loveliest import, now plying her trade in Hollywood Adam Sandler comedies and CGI monster flicks. I don’t know why Kate doesn’t do more “indie” stuff. Isn’t that what all actors want to do? Oh well, at least she’s probably getting paid lots for her work. You gotta love that.
