Keanu Reeves on Board for “Constantine” Sequel
According to this article, Keanu Reeves will be “whoa’ing” his way back into the black trenchcoat of demon slayer Constantine in a sequel set in a Latin American country sometime next year. The flick, which I kinda liked (Reeves’ stilted, dumbell acting notwithstanding), didn’t exactly light the U.S. box office on fire when it hit in 2005, but it did blockbuster business overseas, which is apparently enough for the Powers That Be to greenlight the sequel. The original was directed by MTV vet Francis Lawrence, who will only produce the sequel, and there is no word if Rachel Weisz will return. One can only hope.
