The former “Laguna Beach” star is being considered to play the role of Daisy Duke, created by Simpson on the big screen, in producer Bill Gerber’s prequel to the “The Dukes of Hazzard,” People magazine reported Friday.
Gerber told People Cavallari, 19, is “at the top of the list” for the young Daisy Duke role.
“I like her innocence and her beauty,” he said, adding Simpson, 25, would be too old for a prequel, which will feature a “whole new cast.”
I’m not entirely sure about that “innocence” part, but he’s definitely got the “beauty” part down. And yeah, she could pass for Jessica Simpson’s twin, or a younger sister, couldn’t she?
