Maya Hazen can Scare Me Anyday

Topics: Maya Hazen

IMDB.com has up and coming actress Maya Hazen listed as being born in Tokyo, Japan, and her first big movie role was a supporting turn in the Hollywood horror remake “Shutter”, where she played a Japanese character name Seiko. Or at least I think the character is supposed to be Japanese, going by the name. (I haven’t exactly seen the remake, just the original, and it wasn’t that great to begin with, so I didn’t bother with the remake. I call it my “guilty by association” motto to approaching movies.) In any case, Maya Hazen seems to play a lot of Asian roles, which is kind of strange, as she doesn’t look, well, very Asian to me. But nevertheless, we think Maya Hazen is worth keeping in mind. Find out more about her at her Myspace page.
