Milli Vanilli The Movie: Blame it on Hollywood?

The adventures of Rob and Fab (aka Robert Pilatus and Fabrice Morvan) will be coming to the big screen near you courtesy of the guy who wrote “Catch Me if You Can”, reports The AP. I can see how this would make a pretty good movie, although I think the only way they can tackle this is if they start the film off with the whole lip-syncing scandal having already broken, and how it effects the two men’s lives. One of them died of a drug overdose, no doubt due to having been ostracized in the aftermath of the scandal, and the other one has all but disappeared after a string of solo failures. What happened to them? How did they survive (and didn’t)? If the film answers those questions, and takes the whole thing seriously, this could actually be a very good movie.
