Muslim Beauty Queen Hammasa Kohistani

Yah, I know this posting on Hammasa Kohistani is a tad late, the girl having been elected Miss England way back in 2005 (you know, the Dark Ages). Anyhoo, the Brits elected Hammasa Kohistani their Miss England in 2005, making her the very first Muslim woman to ever be elected. The then 18 year old proved to be not so bright, consequently making a series of less than insightful statements that proves she really is just 18 and, well, don’t know much about anything. Having said that, we’re still shock a Muslim woman was elected Beauty Queen anything, much less be allowed to compete. Word was, as soon as she won, Kohistani got upwards to 2,000 death threats from her own Muslim community. You can’t just please some people.
