You gotta love Norah Jones. And you gotta know she’s a down-to-Earth sort of gal, and that movie star stardom was probably nowhere in her sights when she decided to star in Wong Kar Wai’s “My Blueberry Nights”, her movie debut. And now she’s flying across the globe, walking the red carpets of the Cannes Film Festival every single day, and looking totally lost. The poor girl tries her best, but you know she wasn’t made for this, and she doesn’t really want all this attention. But she sure is handling it well enough, I think. Keep at it, Norah. But don’t forget the music! I think Norah Jones the movie star is great, but I sure would have for her music to get watered down because of it. Jennifer Lopez, anyone?
