Victoria Pratt has always been one of my favorite actresses. Wait, let me rephrase that: I’ve always loved to see Victoria Pratt on TV. Don’t get me wrong, she’s not a bad actress, but there is room for improvement there. The only bad thing about seeing Victoria on TV is that most of the time she’s required to wear those things — what do you call them? Oh right, clothes. She always end up in too much clothes. But not always. Here’s Victoria Pratt looking like a million bucks in Stuff Magazine from earlier this year. That body is the result of a stringent fitness routine, and one of the reasons why she was a fitness model before she ever got into acting. Hot, hot, hot stuff for sure.
I’m not sure where Jean Louisa Kelly has been keeping herself lately, but it’s a crying shame she isn’t seen more often on TV, where she used to star on the CBS sitcom “Yes, Dear”. It was one of those dorky guy has a hot wife sitcom — you know, the kind of pairing that can only possibly exist on TV. It ran for a few years, but after that Jean Louisa Kelly hasn’t really done much. Recently, she re-surfaced on ABC’s “Grey’s Anatomy” for one episode. I’m not sure if she’s left TV on purpose to concentrate on a family (she has a couple of kids and lives in L.A.), but here’s a nice bit of trivia: her best friend is Jennifer Garner. What a pair!
Our Latin Flavor of the day, Paola Nunez, was born in Tecate, Baja California, Mexico, which I think is somewhere between Mexico and, um, California, but don’t hold me to it. She’s an actress who has worked entirely in the Spanish language markets, with works on “Mientras haya vida”, “Amor en custodia”, and “Lo que callamos las mujeres”. I think she’s been doing mostly just TV work right now, but with those kinds of looks, I’m sure movies won’t be far behind. Then again, one can only hope. Here’s Paola Nunez looking good. Unfortunately there’s not a whole lot about her on the net, but these will just have to do for now.
I could be wrong, but as I recall, Ashanti was one of the first (if not the first) R&B singer to mix her smooth vocals with a rapper, thus setting off a chain reaction where EVERYONE and their momma was pairing up rappers with female R&B singers. My music IQ isn’t exactly “all that” (as the kids would say), so I don’t know if this fad is still in or if it’s gone out, but Ashanti was there at the beginning (or close), and that means she deserves special mention. She’s also very hot, too, and that’s always a plus for the music video generation.
I’ve seen Canadian actress Kari Matchett in a number of movies shot up north, including “Cube 2: Hypercube” and “Cypher”. She’s also done a lot of American work, including a stint on the last season of “24″, and a leading role in “Invasion”. The latter show got cancelled, but “24″ of course was not. Unfortunately, Kari Matchett’s role in “24″ wasn’t that big, although you probably did notice her. She was certainly memorable, playing the secretary and object of affection to the creepy Vice President. She’s very talented and given the right role, very sexy. Hopefully she’ll get more work in the future.
What did we human beings ever did that was so good that God gave us the Hollyoaks TV series and their cornucopia of babes? Eh, I don’t know, probably nothing, but I’m sure damn glad we got it anyway. Here’s more of Jennifer Metcalfe, who plays the character Mercedes McQueen on the show. Before she landed on Hollyoaks, Jennifer was Jade Nicholls on “Emmerdale Farm”, which doesn’t have nearly the same cache as being on Hollyoaks. Besides all that, there’s not a whole lot left to say about Jennifer, except that she looks really good in skimpy lingerie. (Have I thanked whoever invented lingerie yet? I’ve always meant to. He da man!)
See? Get it? Because British actress Sarah Alexander’s latest movie is the Claire Danes and Michelle Pfeiffer movie “Stardust”? So I use the words “dust” and “star” in the title? Oh man, I kill me! No, seriously, my genius is so prodigious, that I at times shock myself. (Of course this joke would have been even more funny if I hadn’t just spent the last 30 words or so explaining it. Oh man, I’m lame.) Anyhoo. Here’s Sarah Alexander, one of the stars of “Stardust”, a fantasy about a girl who comes from space and people chase her. And stuff. She ends up in Robert De Niro’s blimp and they fly off. And stuff. Um, look, it’s not like I paid attention, okay?
If you were to rank all the hot women coming out of Australia, pop singer/actress/cancer survivor Kylie Minogue would probably rank pretty high on that list. Then again, if you have enough time to spend ranking hot women from various countries (or in this case, continents), then you have way too much time on your hands, and you gots to go get a life, my friend. In which case, you should get in touch with me, because we both don’t have any social life to speak off. Ugh, my life sucks. But I digress. Here’s some down under hotness with Kylie Minogue. This woman rocks my world.
Our Random Foreign Babe of the Day has one of those names that is a little hard to spell, and even harder to say. It’s even harder if you’re not Polish and aren’t used to this kind of names. But I think you’ll agree that Polish pop singer Edyta Gorniak’s name is worth learning how to spell and pronounce. Currently one of the judges of American Idol-wannabe “Soapstar Superstar”, a Reality TV show where wannabe singers get their dreams of stardom crushed by the viewing audience, Edyta Gorniak has appeared in the Polish edition of Playboy three times, and we can see why. In a word, Edyta Gorniak is one delicious Polish sausage. Okay, so maybe that’s more than one word…
Marcela Kloosterboer’s name makes her sound like she hails from Germany or thereabouts, but she is in fact a bona fide Latin Flavor entry, and not another one of my cheats. Our lovely Marcela hails from Buenos Aires, Argentina, and is an actress model. According to IMDB.com, she was nominated for Best New Actress in 2004 for her work on “Roma”, which was about, um, Rome? Or not. Presently, Marcela can be seen on the shows “Bendita vida”, “Doble venganza”, and the mini-series “Sin código”. And you know I can’t go a day without my “Bendita” and “Doble” episodes. Um, yeah, I’m dying here, guys. Enjoy some Marcela Kloosterboer.
It’s that kind of the day again, when we dip across the pond to find a new British lovely to feature. This time it’s Emma Pierson, one of the stars of the BBC Channel’s new hot soap “Hotel Babylon”. I’ve been seeing promos for the show all over BBC America, and it looks more like “Sex Hotel”, if you know what I mean. Looks like a lot of people constantly getting it on on that show, which there is nothing wrong with, mind you. Except, you know, if it’s a hotel and everyone’s constantly having sex, who is running the hotel? Or the front desk? But I digress. Emma Pierson is hot. Look for more “Hotel Babylon” babes to grace our site soon enough.
The more I see of French tennis babe Tatiana Golovin, the more my curiosity is pique. She’s not exactly a classic beauty the way Maria Sharapova or Anna Kournikova is (that’s the problem with not being Russian, I suppose), but there’s a certain something about her that’s, shall we say, “game”. And check out this spread by Tatiana Golovin for FHM Magazine. Ooh lala indeed! She’s looking good. Not exactly revealing stuff, especially from the girl who bucked Wimbledon’s no-red-panties rule, but still quite enticing. Very classy, hot, and shows off her good side nicely. I gotta start watching tennis more…
Emanuelle Chriqui has a new movie coming up with Adam Sandler called “You Don’t Mess with the Zohan” that’s bound to be a hit. Why? Duh, didn’t you hear me? It’s an Adam Sandler movie. Even better, it’s an Adam Sandler comedy. People love Sandler when he does comedy, but not so much when he tries to pull off a dramatic role. And check out the premise of “Zohan”: “A Mossad agent fakes his death so he can re-emerge in New York City as a hair stylist.” Ha! Sandler, of course, plays the Mossad agent, and he looks pretty ripped in these pictures from the movie. Dude, Adam Sandler looks like a total badass! (And Emanuelle don’t look too bad, either.)
As the title may have hinted at, Rachael Carpani is an Australian actress, primarily known her for role on the long-running Aussie TV series “McLeod’s Daughters”, which if my fantastic observational skills are correct, is about a guy name McLeod and his daughters. And other stuff happens. In any case, Rachael won’t be confined to the land down under for very long; she’s already landed a role on an American sitcom being fronted by comedian Janeane Garofalo. She best make other plans, though, because I don’t think that show is gonna last. Janeane Garofalo is great as the “plain best friend” in movies and TV shows, but it ain’t gonna happen with her as the lead of a show.
Who is Jena Malone, and why do we care that she’s been spotted in a two-piece bikini apparently shooting some kind of something or rather? Um, because she’s kinda famous, and she’s in a bikini, and those two things put together means BINGO, baby! And that’s with all caps, too, in case you were wondering. But who IS Jena Malone? Well she’s an American actress who has been in “Saved!”, “The Ballad of Jack and Rose”, and “Pride and Prejudice”. Basically, she’s a prolific actress who has been in a lot of movies that you’ve probably never seen. Which is strange, as she’s been nominated for a Golden Globe, which would mean she’s a pretty good actress. Then again, I’ve been nominated for a Golden Globe, and I’ve never even been in a movie! But I digress.
