“Prison Break” Gets Third Season, New Characters

To no one’s surprise (well, okay, maybe that’s not exactly true) FOX has renewed their semi-hit show “Prison Break” for a third season. The first season was all about getting the characters out of prison, the second season was all about the characters escaping capture now that they’re out in the world, and the third season will be out — well, no one knows, but I’m sure it’ll have something to do with the Not-Hillary Hillary President and more unearth of the conspiracy behind the framing of Lincoln Burrows, played by Dominic Purcell.

Here’s the most the TV showrunners would tell TVGuide about the upcoming Season 3:

Since the pickup was announced, a few details and clues have surfaced in the trades. For example, viewers can expect the addition of at least four cast members (two men, two women, none American), says Variety, and Scheuring hinted to the Hollywood Reporter that one of the brothers — either Wentworth Miller’s Michael or Dominic Purcell’s Lincoln — might not survive beyond the new season’s first couple of episodes.

All we know is that Sarah Wayne Callies better come back, or else they’ll be hell to pay. Hell, I tell ya! (Yeah, yeah, I know she’s pregnant, but they can always say Michael knocked her up. Now that would be a cool twist.)
