Unlike their American counterparts, the foreign contestants of American Idol (Dutch Idol, German Idol, Pop Idol, etc) don’t seem to have very much trouble with showing up in men’s magazines barely clothed. Then again, we’re mostly talking about the losers here. Even Katharine McPhee actually lost American Idol, which sort of excuses her showing up in Maxim a little while back. I bring all that up to say this: Here’s Dutch Idol’s losing contestant Floortje Smit in the Dutch version of FHM magazine. I don’t know what’s the deal with the skates; I guess she used to skate as a kid or something. Um, nevermind. Not that it matters. Floortje Smit is no Katharine McPhee, but she ain’t half bad, either.
