Now don’t quote me on this, but I’m reasonably certain the Miss World pageant started when someone got pissed that their mistress didn’t make it to the Miss Universe pageant, so this person, who is of course very wealthy (and old and ugly, let’s just say) decided to put his money on creating his very own Miss Whatever pageant. At first, people scoffed at it, but then over time, it started to gain steam, and has become just as popular as the Miss Universe pageant. And hey, is it just me, or do the Miss World winners always end up on men’s magazines faster than their Universe counterparts? All of that is to say that the 2008 Miss World is one Ksenia Sukhinova from Russia. Yeah, can’t pronounce the name to save my life, but luckily for me, she can, and ogling that hot body is definitely a universal language.
